Giving it a 4 because the description states 200 lbs of sand. The stand only took two 50 lbs for each side.

This took me 30 minutes to assemble on my own. It might have taken less time if the illustrations - especially regarding the screws - were a bit more accurate. You have two screw drawings which look very similar however if you read the measurements below, you quickly figure out what’s what. The star screwdriver included with this wasn’t that great - I’d recommend using your own. But once assembled this does feel solid and it has a nice degree of flexibility when you punch it. Without any water or sand in it - it’s very easy to move and actually takes up surprisingly little space physically. However because you have to weight it with water or sand (which you pour in via the base) it’s heavy to move around. I’m thinking if you put this on top of something like a gym mat (which I would do anyway to protect my hardwood floors) then you could potentially slide it around a bit easier, to move it or store it in a corner when not in use - especially if you are in a smaller place. The punch bag/ball itself is quite hard. This is my first piece of home punching kit and I assumed it would be softer like a ceiling hung bag. But this is made of a hard plastic - so I’d strongly recommend using or purchasing gloves should you get this. I had visions of doing one of those fast rhythmic boxing numbers on this - the way you see boxers do it. However trying that out I see I have my work cut out for me - it’s not as easy as they make it look. Boxing is an excellent source of cardio that makes for a nice change from running, so I’m looking forward to incorporating this into my fitness routine. Plus it’s a good way to vent some of those frustrations. I’ll update this review when I’ve had a few weeks of using it in terms of durability and wear and tear.

This is a very nice, space saving punching bag. It was easy to assemble and to fill the base with water. It isn't so heavy that it cannot be easily moved if need be. It appears to be durable and quality made and is easy to use. It is functional and can work in most any space and is a good value for the money. Highly recommend.

This might hold up to a child, but I wouldn't depend on it for a long term gym workout. Be prepared to add over 100 bls of sand, and the base is still wobbly. Inexpensive but for a reason. Easy to assemble and use, and can be fun.

This thing turned my living room into a rage-friendly dojo. One minute I’m dodging emails, the next I’m bobbing and weaving like I’m training for a rematch with Monday. The adjustable height means my teenager and I can both throw jabs without needing a stool or a chiropractor. Bonus: it springs back faster than my motivation after coffee. Ten out of ten for punching my problems in the face.
