The quality of this punching bag surpassed our expectations. It is very solid and well made. At this time, we even skipped putting water or sand in the base as the suction cups are sufficient to withstand the impact made by a child. While it's geared towards an adult, we made some safety modifications for kids-use by placing Nerf darts over the bolts and wrapping an old t-shirt around the exposed metal parts atop the stand. This fit perfectly beside my pull up rack and was really easy to out together.. it takes 150lbs of sand to fill the tank, fyi. I have it on my outside patio and expected the suction cups to not be the most effective on the rought concrete surface, but they look to be really good quality for an actual flat surface. Surprisingly high quality components and feel. Gloves had a tribal tattoo thorn design instead of impact gloves shown in photos. Be sure to buy dry sand to fill it. Took a long time to fill with 150lb wet sand.

Got this for Christmas for my 8 year old son. My brother purchased him a smaller one last year that didn't last. This punching bag has been great for all of us in the family. It is extremely easy to assemble, I didn't it mostly by myself and all the tools are included. I had my husband help me hold the top in place when placing the screws to the base. Suctioning is very good, we have it partially filled with sand, need to get some more but still hard to knock down. Very good purchase for the prize. ... show more

Because there appears to be no way to tighten the bolts at the base where the bag gets attached to the base (they just spin since you cannot physically get to the nut inside the base), the bag feels loose after a dozen uses. (I am a smaller sized person so I don’t beat it too badly - I don’t think it will completely fall apart - still it would be better if I could tighten those bolts!). I added 200 pounds of sand, which was quite a workout in itself! Trying to get semi-dry sand (from local HD) into the base took a while with a large funnel. Doable, but challenging. Overall I am happy with the bag. It is a great workout for me! ... show more
