The stock image shows a guy going all out, gloves, and just nailing this thing. Your really don't want to do that with this, lol. It's just a more adult version of those kiddy punching bags that us old folks remember that had a bit of sand in the base and tilted wildly, then back upright, when we'd whack them. This one is more stable, the materials used are sturdier and thicker, and it doesn't swing around wildly. It's not made to be a 'punching bag', unless you're just training for form and pulling your punches. Kids could use this as a punching bag, but not a full size adult like shown in the images. I'd hesitate to let teens in training go ham on this. It fills up easily. We used the water hose, then my husband's compressor. It's a pain to move, but luckily our sunroom is partitioned off into a small gym, so it didn't need to go far. It's held up well so far with just my son and husband using it, but they don't really punch it. It's worked for them as far as them learning how to set and strike, basically. For form and technique. I'm happy with it and so are they.

We bought this for our 13 year old son. He absolutely loves it! He has put a couple dents in it but nothing that takes away from its functionality. This is the reason I gave it a 4 on durability.

I’d have to say that while I think this training bag was made fairly well and with decent materials, I will also say that it was pretty easy to topple over. I’m pretty sure I filled it up with water and air but it still seemed wobbly. I would absolutely recommend this training bag for younger MMA enthusiasts as full grown and built men could probably break it! Excellent for a small home gym and light practice.

This big punching bag is made of thick material, easy to inflate and has the ability to fill the base with water so it stays in place. It can take plenty of serious punishment while giving you a great workout. It combines elements of a heavy bag and a speed bag which is an excellent benefit. If you need a good punching bag that is well made and very useful, buy this one. Highly recommended.

I got this Punching Bag to supplement the items in a home gym. Once you set it up, I think it can be useful for practicing your sparring motion and for timing purposes. However, since the top part is filled with air, you obviously won't get the same work out as if you're hitting a heavy bag. Pros and cons, right? This item is more "mobile" than a heavy bag but won't mimic the heavy bag work out. Not sure how durable this item will be. You won't be hitting the bag with a lot of force since the bag will "rebound" but the material is PVC (and not canvas, for example) so may mar after repeating hits. If you follow the instructions include in the kit, it's fairly easy to set up. I filled the base with 2/3rds water outside the house using a garden hose. It's going to get heavy if you have to move it a long distance. Remember to close the two other valves at the base when filling the bottom with water or else the water will leak out of those openings. I used a standard air pump to fill up the rest of the sections with air.

I ordered this for my son. He had a heavy bag as well, but uses this primarily for kicking and reflex. Filling it was easy enough, both the water and air sections. It has been kept in the same place since it was filled as it would really be a hassle to move. He's been using this almost daily for a while now and it's holding up just fine. I would recommend this to others.
