I took it out of the box and hung it on our chin up bar within 10-minutes. You can actually feel the difference when doing chin ups properly, without swinging (momentum). I've only been doing this for a little over a week, I'm sore every day, doing 15 chin-ups every morning and after work 5 days a week. I watched a video that shows when you do controlled chin-ups, the muscles being worked are being worked properly, this will lead to noticeable body toning.

I like being able to have an aid that can help me nail down the function and form of an exercise. This serves in doing that but it's a little awkward trying to get my feet into the sleeves/pads. Maybe I need more practice. Just slows things down a bit. But it does help, so there's that. :)

For me, the most important thing to know is that if you can't pull yourself up at least for the first pull-up then what this is is a hanging assistance tool. That's not a bad thing, eventually your arms will get stronger. But pull-up assistance I think feels like it will help a person perform a pull-up from the beginning. All that being said, having the feet rest eases the weight off your shoulders when you're hanging from the bar and the band does assist in you being able to begin trying a pull-up. The resistance band that comes with the package is very thick and long but, as the instructions show, you can fold them several times to increase resistance. The hooks are big enough to loop the folded band through. All of the materials are sturdy and hold a lot of weight. However, I would not leave them exposed to the elements, especially the resistance band.

I just installed the Pull Up Assist Bands in less than 5 minutes, despite barely being able to do 1 pull-up at 47, my goal is to hit 5 pull-ups by the end of the month. I know what y’all might be thinking but my back is the weakest part of my body. It’s never too late.

I like it. I used another version but that was only one leg. So it made balance really hard. This version with the 2 foot hold makes everything so much easier.

The media could not be loaded. I liked that I can do 3-4 reps previously I could do none. So far it works great.
