This did come with a little bit of assembly required but it didn't take too long to get the pieces together. It's pretty sturdy in my opinion. Everything tightened up really well. There is the leg rest that very easily folds out and pulls out and then you can just tuck it back in. The chair does go up and down and then the reclining and not reclining. You can lock in place so that it can either recline or not recline. The head pillow that clips on. I actually like that the best because it stays in place. The bottom pillow is good to add add a bit more support. However that is not connected to the chair. It is just a pillow on the chair. It's very easily operated and is functional. It was easy to put together. The instructions were only a little confusing, but we figured it out! Not recommend to have a cat present during construction as they got in the way. Comfy and held my weight easily.

I am only giving this review 3 stars instead of 5 because of the instructions! The product itself is awesome super cute and super comfy and is surprisingly very big in size and would be good for tall people…we loved the embroidery, pillow cute cat ears, the purple and white is pretty and foot rest really nice. The bad part was the instructions and made it take a lot longer to put together because of it. They were labeled very poorly with very poor pictures and it was super hard to understand what they were pointing at or referring to in them. Very basic and it was frustrating because of it. Brought down the rating because that’s how bad they were…outside of that the product itself had no problem and would recommend! ... show more
