As a person who chronically sits cross-legged but is past the age of thirty, so who's knee's need a break from the ground, this is the best office chair. I work so much better on a couch or standing- basically anything but sitting at a normal desk. If you're thinking, she sounds like she is ND, yes I am. This allows me to work in comfortable positions to me but also sit at a desk. I was worried about the back rest being too high, or the cushion on the seat being too hard. Nope, both perfect. The seat cushion is firm but not too hard and the back rest comes just below my shoulders. Also, as a plus sized woman, I am happy to report, this is wide enough and sturdy enough to fit me comfortably. Even if you are simply a plus sized person looking for a wider office chair and aren't interested in the extra benefits to use neurospice people, this is a great option. I'm 5'8" (all in my legs) and this chair gets high enough that I can't touch the ground. The seat is curved but not so much that you feel you're sitting in a dip, and also it doesn't do that thing where the seat is tilted forward so you feel you may slide off. It's a nice almost canvas-y fabric. Not scratchy or itchy but does attract a little static. For all my praise, the shipping was a little rough and two pieces were broken on arrival; although they didn't affect the overall function of the chair. The instructions were like Ikea before they learned how to write instructions properly (uh... I hope this goes here? 🤔) But there isn't many pieces so with a little patience and attention it can be sorted. Fyi, you get 9 short screws and 4 long screws. The long screws are for attaching the back of the chair to the base. The short screws are for everything else. ... show more

Easy to put together, great size for her needs, looks really comfortable the way she can change her posture as much as she needs to. Would highly recommend. Only comment from her is she wishes it was a little higher in the back for support, otherwise it's everything she wanted. On a side note about the company: Amazon had accidentally sent it to an old address, and Pukami sent a new one ASAP. I was nervous about ordering this particular Pukami chair with wheels since it only had a single rating but I was looking at the criss cross chair without wheels and just knew I would regret not getting the one with wheels so I went for it! Assembly was simple but I did need my partner to help me with putting together the two cushions and screwing them in together. I got this chair since I’ll be working from home soon and wanted something comfortable that also matched my style. Hoping it will be comfortable to sit in for 8 hours a day (I will try to update later when I’ve had more time using it) So far it’s very comfortable, big enough to sit criss cross, not very loud at all, and spins well. Feels good quality to me. I saw some people talking about not being able to lean back with these criss cross chairs but my partner made sure to push in the handle so that it secures that part of the chair and I’ve been able to lean back comfortably without wobbling or feeling like I’m gonna fall. The only things I will mention so far is that when I’m trying to get off the chair and it’s a bit higher up, I need to make sure one of my feet is on the floor for balance because the chair will flip over due to the weight distribution, if not. Also, due to the color and fabric of the chair it is quite easy to stain (I’ve had to use my tide pen on it twice so far) so just need to be careful but other than that I’m very happy with it! ... show more

I was looking for a chair that would allow me to sit "criss-cross applesauce" (I'm 5'10" so I need it to be a pretty big chair for that). I also wanted wheels so I could position as necessary (many don't have wheels) and I needed it to raise to the proper height for my desk (my last chair was too short so I needed to use an extra cushion). I finally got the "criss-cross" chair my wife saw on tiktok and had been telling me about for what seems like months. She loves it! Only complaint I had building it was that it was super difficult to get the cap off the hydraulic support. I had to use some pliers (for leverage around the stem) and a flathead screwdriver to pry it off. Thankfully that's just a one time thing. I also understand that you don't want that piece accidentally extending during shipping, and other than that it was pretty easy to assemble with the right bit for my drill. ... show more
