This blanket is generously-sized, soft, thick without feeling heavy, warm, great colors (although I don't know why I buy anything white/cream when I have a husband, 2 boys, a cat, and a border collie that refuses to respect personal space). My husband gets hot at night and wanted a blanket to use when the duvet makes him too warm. This isn't the blanket for that, but he runs cold when he's awake so it's perfect for that. The colors match the pictures, it's super soft and cozy, and big enough to cover a 6' tall man, with a lot of leftover blanket. Has held up to kids and the dog nicely; the cat isn't interested, he hijacked a $6 fleece blanket from Aldi. I washed it the first time on cold and delicate, partially dried it on low, then hung it to completely dry; no shedding, no shrinkage, no bleeding of color, no matting.
