Beautiful wheels with smooth bearings
This is a huge upgrade to the usual pneumatic wheels of similar size... after accidentally dragging the chicken tractor a few feet with a flat tire and having its Schrader valve stem get sheared off, I was delighted to find them. They have smooth roller bearings instead of plain bearings, so friction is very low. I haven't had them long enough to have a sense of long-term corrosion, but certainly no signs of it yet and they spin freely. For good measure, I've given them a little capillary squirt of machine oil. They are very firm, but not excessively so - I fill the pneumatic tires on my various carts and hand trucks to similar hardness. The fact that they will never go flat is a huge plus (fixing normal tubes/tires of this size is a pain). Keepers, and recommended. Make sure you can arrange a suitable axle... a 5/8 bolt with about 1-1/4 inches of shank and enough thread for the application, held with jam nuts, is fine. You can space the wheel with provided washers or pick up stainless fender washers, and make sure that no structure will interfere with 3.5-inch width. ... show more

Works great!
I kept having my tire go flat on my wheelbarrow, and I just kept filling it up, but it needed to be replaced. I got this kit, and it took me maybe 15 minutes to change out the axle and wheel. It works great! The kit came with 2 complete sets, so now I have one for later when this one finally wears out, though I doubt it'll be any time soon. ... show more

Very nice wheels
These are a great replacement for the old standard wheels. These being flat free means no more tubes or flat tires. Quick easy swap from the old ones. Tread is great and they look good too.
