Far too nice for the price. There is an issue of the filter not quite sealing however just a bit of silicone fixes that. Over all I am very happy with this and it worked perfect for my application. I highly recommend. :-)

I wouldn't use the corrugated tubing on a turbo vehicle (they're probably fine for NA though) but they fit nicely in places a lot of filters won't and allow you to actually build cold air intakes (or snorkels) without a lot of pain. I do oil the filters with K&N filter oil before use. The carbon fiber, thus far, has proven to be both nice to look at and seems to be holding up well after many miles of ignoring the engine bay both on and off the trail. They do flow well even when oiled. They absolutely will make a lot of noise (in a good way) compared to a stock box. The included mounting strap isn't amazing for installation but it will work in a pinch without too much hassle. ... show more

Got tired of my “hot”air intake and found this. Still has heat soak in warm temps and when idling for a few minutes but is fine once air is flowing again. I usually run about 90-120f intake temps on most 80-85f days. I also later added a metal heat shield to the underside of the filter housing which helps a lot too. The filter material could be a little thicker and better quality but it works ... show more

This filter worked great for my 2001 Hyndai santa fe. My stock air filter box was broken and needed a replacement. And to order a stock air filter assembly would cost me $600 at a dealer and $344 on ebay. I choose this and worked wonderful. It fit directly to the stock tubing the regular stock filter was in. And very pleased. I didn't use the tube that comes with it but it's nice to see it did. Very happy and will recommend if you have a santa fe with a broken air filter box. ... show more
