Powerful and efficient dehumidifier with auto sensing and 'set it and forget it' setting. I connected the drain hose to the back of this dehumidifier and set it to auto sense in my basement. It turns on and off as necessary to control the moisture levels and I have not had to think about it since I hooked it up. This thing is a real workhorse. I originally purchased a smaller unit (of a different brand) and found that it was insufficient for the space I had. This dehumidifier takes care of it with no problem.

This is a mini dehumidifier. It works, although rather slowly. It is intended for small spaces the size of a closet or normal bathroom. It has a number of features, and at the time that I got it, the listing did not explain much about it. There is a drain outlet and small hose for use if you have a floor drain. Otherwise, you just retain the water in the plastic tank and dump it out at the end of the day. It has a light that glows from the tank, and you can change the color of the light, although the first time I tried to do this, I turned the machine off instead. That’s because it uses the same button for on and off and for the lights, the difference being whether you use a long press of six seconds or a short press. There is a small manual with pictures. The machine is fairly simple. I did have some problems with the bank cover not snapping on easily. There is a warranty, but no address on the card. This is easy to set up. There were options for how long you want it to run. It runs quietly. It works great lowering the humidity. It is easy to move around. And it is a great value for the money.

So it is important to have a dehumidifier at home. This home mini dehumidifier is a good choice. It is small in size, does not take up too much space, is light in weight, can be easily moved to various rooms, has low noise, and is suitable for the bedroom. I prefer to put it in the closet to keep clothes dry and moldy. This dehumidifier is easy to operate, one-button start, and all buttons and functions are clear at a glance. When the water tank is full of water, it will stop running and flash the light to remind you. Pull out the water tank to pour water and reinsert it, and it will start running automatically.     • Functional dehumidifier with small footprint
The dehumidifier is mostly easy to setup and use. Just the water drawer can be a little challenging to put back in after removing it to dump liquid if it's not convenient to use the auto-draining hose. The outlet for the water drawer has a plug for when you're not attaching the hose (and the product came with spare plug). The draining hose is simple to set up when it is feasible for the location. There's a plastic attachment piece that lets the hose connect to horizontal tube instead of turning up to meet bottom of the water drawer (which would risk pinching the tube). The hose is about 50in long and flexible. The dehumidifier isn't the most efficient I've used, can take a while to see a single drop of water even put into a closed bathroom right after a shower, but it is functional and does slowly remove excess moisture from the air. It makes less noise than the in-built fans of my bathrooms even if not totally quiet. ... show more
