With the "sample" cartridge i used it to play around with it and test things out and made a bunch of unnecessary labels. After i got the feel for it i labeled almost everything that needed lables my rice and sugar and spices and different things in tupperware or containers that you cant see in and look identical to others and its the greatest investment. This label maker is fantastic. It's easy to use with a QWERTY keyboard. It has multiple fonts, symbols, frames, etc. The label prints clearly and sharply with great depth of color. It is lightweight and very portable. I have only one negative comment, which is that the screen display is not as bright and sharp as I would like. FYI...it requires 6 AAA batteries, which are not included. ... show more

If you've thought about buying a label maker, chances are you will love this thing and you should just get right on that. It is so user friendly, comes with multiple different tapes, and has so many functions. I use it in my office and at home on the weekly, daily basis.

    • Display is Hard to Read
Overall, this is a nice, compact, easy to use label maker. It’s has a number of available fonts, font sizes, frames, all of which make great looking labels. The menus are a little tedious to get through but I suppose if you are not changing any of the above a lot that would make little difference. The display is difficult to read, especially under bright light conditions (sunshine through windows). Adjusting the display darkness does little to help. Suspect the actual angle of the display is the issue as tilting the unit does help a little. Perhaps it is ore just the quality of the display itself. At some point we will replace it with a better labeler, but it is okay for now. ... show more

    • Small, light, and easy to use.
I had an older handheld Brother's label maker for years, a least 15 and it finally died. What I didn't like about my old one was not a QWERTY keyboard, this has that QWERTY keyboard. A little more compact than I expected but it works nice. I know the tape has great adhesion, the labels look great, and more features than the average person needs. ... show more

    • Too much fun...I label everything
There are so many options available, but I had so much fun just doing the basics I haven't tried them yet. I started in my office and labeled files, baskets, and organizers. In the kitchen I labeled shelves in my pantry, spice racks, and organizers in my refrigerator. In the garage I labeled my tool cabinet, shelves for my hobbies, and bins with my UFOs (unfinished objects). This helps eliminate clutter as everything now has a place! ... show more

    • There's NO power cord included
Love the machine. That being said I wish it could print on 3/4" tape and that the power cord would have been included. Who sells an item that takes a power cord without one included? I went to use it on the job site and it took 6 batteries, which I didn't have...
