I can truthfully say that I'm a happy costumer! this is a great iPad! when its delivered it is inside a thin plastic layer and is bubble wrapped. the iPad is picture-perfect, it came on time, it has ZERO traces of scratch, and it works like new! you would honestly have no idea it was refurbished. the screen is well conditioned, and the back has the apple logo. I bought this iPad for everyday use and to draw and/or take notes. it works well and it is worth double the price! the charger is not an original apple charger, but it works just as great. it fits in any 10.2-inch case. i recommend getting 128 gig because it has more storage and works best with updates. i have the silver iPad Wi-Fi only 128 gig and it works great! thanks amazon!!!! :) ... show more

Wow! I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger because of some of the reviewers on here saying they got a terrible renewed iPad... I can assure you that the one that I received was in overall 4.5/5 condition. The screen looked brand new, and even the rest of the body didn't appear to have any sort of defects. The cellular connection I'm getting (Ting Mobile, baby) is as steady as my cell phone (I was a little worried that the cell antenna in these wouldn't be of great quality, but I'm happy to say it is.) I've never owned any iPads, but recently got an iPhone and chose this over other tablets because I know Apple retina displays are actually very nice. Colors come across as vivid. Resolution turned up to the point where you're really struggling to make out individual pixels, and the screen is bright enough that I'm not struggling to see this in the car. And I bought this because I wanted a nice, big screen to look at when I'm in the car. One note about the display - it's a 4:3 display rather than the more contemporary 16:9 displays of the Android tablet world. That makes this about a ~9"-9.3" display when watching content with a 1.777:1 or 1.85:1 aspect ratio which are the standard aspect ratios for films/TV shows (which is why your TV at home is a 16:9 aspect ratio!) Back to car use, the GPS works very well alongside cellular data. There are some cool navigation apps available on Apple, plus now I don't feel left out when there's other neat apps for Apple that I can't get on my Android phone. Also there are actually so many good accessories available for this thing because Apple has a small product line in comparison to the dozens of Android tablets and phones coming out each year from numerous manufacturers which equals lots of accessories with not so many reviews. I chose this specific model because it's the newest cellular Apple tablet at this price point. As of now, it's about 2-3 years old. The other ones I found on Amazon around the $200-300 range were as old as 8 years and without cellular, which is why I spent the extra money for something like this. I am happier than I was when I made my impulse buy which is impressive. You really do get a lot of tech for the money. A new 64gb iPad 10.2 with cellular is $459. This is only 32gb, and with a fresh install of iOS you get 23gb available to you. A little worried it won't be enough for me, but I'll probably manage. My only con so far is that the battery had a weird glitch. When you're in a high state of charge, it seems to be discharging at a slow enough rate. I got down to around 40% after using it for about 4 hours after using it to stream Hulu using cell data with full brightness. Then while using it with GPS on and streaming Spotify with full brightness on, it jumped from about 35% down to 20% within a few minutes. I can't complain too much because this is a 3 year old device about 2/3rds the price of new. I got mine from the seller "techexchangee" - came with a 5v/2.4a charger (or 12 watt) charger plus cable. Shipped in a plain box with lots of bubble wrap. Again, from the outside, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was renewed. P.S. On Amazon, I found a tablet mount for a car using a CD player and that thing is great. Highly recommend that if you want to use this in a car. It's the "APPS2CAR universal car mount CD slot" for $20. ... show more

How sad for me and this Tablet. First off, I bought a refurbished model for a little lesser price. Durable, working well electronic device. I ordered it, got delivered on 11/4/2023. Tuesday 21/14 I flew down to spend Thanksgiving with my sister. When she saw my purchase she couldn't be lol I've how affordable the. Tablet was, and it wasa 7th edition Apple. I departed San Diego to go home to Sacramento in 11/24. It was then and there that a nightmare occurred. I went through the screening TSA line to have my carry ons checked and my backpack examined. Well I got up to the checkpoint and was asked by the TSA officer to remove electronic device from the pack back and place inll. the rolling it it on the rolling belt. I then went to put on my winter boots when I walked away from the TSA checkpoint area to the departure terminal, Gate 3 upstairs. Meanwhile I forgot all about my Apple l Tablet being held up in the checkpoint area. VI went to a vendor and ordered coffee and a roll. I had approximately 55 minutes befote boarding the aircraft. LONG STORY SHORT, left my device at the airport and I was about 400 miles away from home. I never called or wrote to the San Diego International Airport to get status on my IPAD I still have my boarding pass from that departure date, 11/24/23. I just recently went online and filed a claim. My chances are odd in retrieving it back. Because after 30 days TSA gets rud of items and dispenses it to other areas. I have phone call in to lSan Diego Losst and Found to make an appointment to speak to an individual who specializes in item that have been lost. ANYWAY I LOVED that Apple Tablet. This is perfect if you’re on a low income (like me) and need something immediately to draw with or to do other tasks. Only issue is the charging may or may not stay or charge fast enough. The iPad comes well packaged in a box designed for it. When you open it, the iPad is well laminated in an intermediate cardboard and underneath is a charger, a NOT original cable and a piece of Amazon renew paper. When you take it out of the packaging, it does not show any signs of use, except for 3 micro-scratches on the screen only noticeable when exposed to light, to place the screen protector. The iPad is 7th generation and after updating it and contacting Apple support via chat, they told me that the battery is at 96% of its charge cycle. When the processor is put to work (update) you notice how the battery drops. For lighter things it is more stable. As is usually the case with electronic devices. You don't see any dead pixels on the screen nor any defects on it with the dim brightness and low light. The truth is that in general it runs very smoothly and I am happy with the purchase.
