  • Realy Good saw
Size: 62CC 20IN
Assembly was easy, added bar oil to its tank and 40to1 fuel premix. used the vp pre-made premix fuel for the brake in running. Set the choke, ignition switch on pumped the fuel prime till it was full of fuel. Pulled the start cord 3 times and it popped off then died. Squeezed the throttle to release the choke Pulled the start cord and on second pull fired up and idled perfectly. Let it idle for a bit, throttled it up a couple of times then idle a few times. Turned it off did this 4 times and every time it fired off and ran on the first pull and idled perfectly fine. adjusted the chain again and went and cut up a big stump I need gone. The chain is sharp, cuts extremely well but did stretch a lot. End up adjusting it 5 times before it really stopped stretching. It did stay sharp. It comes with a roller tip bar, definitely pluss. The saw runs unbelievable well and strong for such a inexpensive saw. I dare say as good as my German made early 70s Stihl 028 wood boss. It did impress me. The plastic is ok and it all looks and fit well, but time will tell how it holds up. It came with a chain and bar cover a file for the chain tools for all your adjustments and a fuel premixing jug, and a soft carrying case. If you looking for a inexpensive saw and your using it for occasional use, its definitely the saw to look at. ... show more

  • Well worth the money!!
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
This was a very powerful saw!! I had to remove a dead tree and was quoted $400 and I was able to get this delivered for $170 and it was well worth it. Needs a little assembly and adjustments require a wrench but for the money, this thing was a champ. Cold start was a breeze but it took me a little while to get it restarted even just after shutting down. What you do is switch it back to on, pull the choke out and pull the rope at half strength, just enough to turn the motor over. Do this two or three times and you will hear the engine turnover enough to click the choke back in. It does tend to struggle to stay on so you need to babysit it a little with the gas for about 20 seconds and you are back and ready to cut!! ... show more

  • Looks great but is missing one huge option - it is ineligible to return!
Size: 62CC 20IN
I have never written a product review, but the circumstances surrounding my purchase are so unfair, I had to post a warning to others so the same does not happen to anyone else. I purchased this chainsaw to clear some fallen trees after a recent windstorm. After carefully assembling, adding the appropriate fuel and exactly taking each step to start it, I was not able to start the chainsaw. Double and triple checking everything, I was still not able to start it. Finally I asked my friend who works for a tree service to review and attempt and he was not able to start it (he ultimately lent me his saw to clear the logs). I understand not every piece of equipment is a perfect solution. That’s fair. However, this product is not eligible for return. It’s not an option on Amazon. This means that you must gamble that this chainsaw will work - and if it doesn’t, you are stuck & have a slightly smaller bank account. I saw other reviews about difficulty starting and a no return policy and ignored. I am posting this review to let you know these are legitimate factors to consider before making your final decision. As handy and tool-savvy you feel you may be, consider what you might do if the chainsaw refuses to work and you have no return option. Worth the trade off on price? If I could redo my decision, I’d make a different choice. Side note - product was packaged well, arrived quickly and had good solid documentation. ... show more

  • Good bang for the buck - so far so good
Size: 58CC Gas Chainsaw 16in+20in
My old Poulan 38cc finally bit the dust after 33 years and dropping it's last tree 8 days ago. I got the tree on the ground and cut/burned all of the top limbs. Took a break before starting on the main trunk, which was about 18" Ø at the base and about 30 feet long. Tried to start the old saw but realized it had finally died. I realized I needed to buy a new chainsaw, and began looking online for some of the better rated saws. It didn't take long to realize that I'd spend around $400 + for a name-brand saw with a bar that's 16 inches or longer. And then I came across this Proyama 58cc saw, with not only a 16" bar & chain but also a 20" bar & chain as well. Reviews looked pretty good considering the price, and it has all of the nice features of a decent saw, like a chain brake, ease of chain adjustment and refilling the oil & fuel tanks, and easy starting. A few of the reviews stated that this saw was really hard to start, but I had no problem. Just followed the directions to the letter, and it cranked right up on the 3rd pull after the preliminary start-up procedure. I let it idle for about 30 minutes to sort of break-in, and then went to work. WOW, was I impressed with the 1st cut and beyond. Lots of power. That 30 feet of trunk was cut up in about 20 minutes at approximately 2 feet per cut. I had to restart the saw a couple of times after shutting it off, and it started right up without any hesitation. It handles well and the weight is easily maneuvered. This has been my 1st & only experience with this named brand saw, but I'm well pleased with the initial performance. Hopefully it will serve me well for many years to come. I took out out the extended 3 year warranty, so for around a total price of $200, I feel I bought a bargain and that it's protected. One particular note I'd like to mention regarding several of the reviews that had a low rating: I realized at the time of reading them there may have been error at the time of assembly. There's always the possibility a "lemon" shows up from the factory, but If you're mechanically inclined, read the instructions carefully, use a little common sense, and know what to look for while assembling, then you should have no problem with this saw. Otherwise, if you're not sure, find someone with experience or a professional and let them setup the saw for you. When I was assembling this saw, there were a couple of things I had to stop, look, and examine more thoroughly to make sure it was done correctly. Especially making sure the chain was on the sprocket at the clutch and not directly against the clutch. When I thought it was assembled but the chain wouldn't spin, it was time to back up and look more closely at what I had done. Otherwise, it could have meant premature failure on some components. Hopefully whoever reads this will find it helpful if trying to make a decision on buying a new saw, or if doing the assembly yourself. Best regards, KMS ... show more

  • It's a beast for the price very reliable
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
This is a great knock-off it's kind of a mix between a Husqvarna and a neotec. I run this chainsaw through the ringer. It cuts great tank of gas usually lasts anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the wooden cutting but hands down overall you can't touch this chainsaw for the price and the fact that it comes with two bars two chains face guard and all that other stuff very economical for the price ... show more
