Yes! Proyama is a good little saw, I have the big ones too and they look like some of the others listed with other names, maybe the same? I dont know but what makes these better is the customer service. They have always got right back to me on contacting them. This runs great, easy to use, light and strong enough for a tiny trimmer. I use this in my log pile so I dont have to sling around a big saw and it does great. I like this saw a lot. It oils very well. The chain they send with it is very nice. You dont need to push this saw, let it feed its self. The only thing I did to it was tune the carb, after I ran one whole tank of fuel thru it to break it in then set it up. On one tank it gave me a strong 30 min of cut time and the oil and fuel track real close so the chain doesnt run dry. 3/8 chain was a good choice for this. I would like to see a rim drive for it. They outlast the dog drive. BUT for what I use this for not worried about it much. I only hope when it comes time for parts that I can get them. Good job PROYAMA again.

This is a great little chain saw. Here is a little background as to ehy I bought it. We have a farm and lots of trees as well. I needed a small saw for tight tree trimming that was easy to use for that situation. We already have 4 larger saws and 2 pole saws, but not one can get in easily to trim some trees or even some lumber in certain structures like sheds and pole buildings. The local rural hardware/lumber yard had a name brand that looked similar but cost 3 times more. Yikes! So I found this model at Amazon with decent reviews and bought it! I am so far delighted. At the age of 78 I work a farm, but lifting heavier saws to cut timber or trim and prune is in diminishing time. That is the background to get the saw, now the review: -It is easy to assemble. They provide a great little manual but poor instructions if you are a novice at assembling. Just look at the parts illustration and it will work out fine. -Follow carefully the fuel mixture. They provide a nice mixture container, just choose the right mix portion as it is marked for at least 3 choices or 4. - Easy yo start. It fired on the second pull, but really started up to run on the 3rd pull. Wow! Some expensive ones on the market can takr 6 heavy pulls. Not this one. -It is light, cuts very well and fast, like the top handle as you can get in tight places, or even up a ladder. Woulf be great if you had light storm damage to trees to clear them away. - Easy to handle if older or any person with limited skills in tree trimming. -I know this is a longer review, but sometimes one is needed to help inform others. This is a good product. Arrived quickly. Well packed. Everything you need to set it up is in the box. Enjoy.

Excellent value, these Chinese products are very impressive these days. The quality of the saw is amazing, once the saw ran a while and broke in it had amazing power. Starts and runs perfect. It made quick work of a 28 inch wide tree in the backyard. I would buy another without hesitation

I have never written a product review, but the circumstances surrounding my purchase are so unfair, I had to post a warning to others so the same does not happen to anyone else. I purchased this chainsaw to clear some fallen trees after a recent windstorm. After carefully assembling, adding the appropriate fuel and exactly taking each step to start it, I was not able to start the chainsaw. Double and triple checking everything, I was still not able to start it. Finally I asked my friend who works for a tree service to review and attempt and he was not able to start it (he ultimately lent me his saw to clear the logs). I understand not every piece of equipment is a perfect solution. That’s fair. However, this product is not eligible for return. It’s not an option on Amazon. This means that you must gamble that this chainsaw will work - and if it doesn’t, you are stuck & have a slightly smaller bank account. I saw other reviews about difficulty starting and a no return policy and ignored. I am posting this review to let you know these are legitimate factors to consider before making your final decision. As handy and tool-savvy you feel you may be, consider what you might do if the chainsaw refuses to work and you have no return option. Worth the trade off on price? If I could redo my decision, I’d make a different choice. Side note - product was packaged well, arrived quickly and had good solid documentation.

Excellent small chain saw. Well built, great value for money. Small and compact, easy to start, for a small saw this thing is a beast its cutting performance is excellent you will not be disappointed. Definitely only use 40:1 mix. The fuel tank is small but last a long time when cutting. I would advise draining the oil bar reservoir when not in use to avoid fluid leaking out when stored. I will define purchase again when investing in a small chain saw.

For the price point I will say this thing absolutely rips! I have used it on 5 cedars and 2 sweet gums to date and its nice to climb with vs my larger saws. Its not a bad little saw, and I have not had any issues with hot start like others have had, which that problem can be fixed by a carb adjustment because mine came from the factory running super rich. I thought that I had a problem with the oil adjustment screw, but it turns out that the fuel tank is leaking into the bar oil tank. The saw still runs great, it just goes through fuel and bar oil pretty quick because the fuel thins the oil out a lot. Unfortunately I just figured it out a week outside of my return window because I would actually exchange it for anther one, because for the fraction of the price of a name brand saw this little thing is worth its weight.

Assembly was easy, added bar oil to its tank and 40to1 fuel premix. used the vp pre-made premix fuel for the brake in running. Set the choke, ignition switch on pumped the fuel prime till it was full of fuel. Pulled the start cord 3 times and it popped off then died. Squeezed the throttle to release the choke Pulled the start cord and on second pull fired up and idled perfectly. Let it idle for a bit, throttled it up a couple of times then idle a few times. Turned it off did this 4 times and every time it fired off and ran on the first pull and idled perfectly fine. adjusted the chain again and went and cut up a big stump I need gone. The chain is sharp, cuts extremely well but did stretch a lot. End up adjusting it 5 times before it really stopped stretching. It did stay sharp. It comes with a roller tip bar, definitely pluss. The saw runs unbelievable well and strong for such a inexpensive saw. I dare say as good as my German made early 70s Stihl 028 wood boss. It did impress me. The plastic is ok and it all looks and fit well, but time will tell how it holds up. It came with a chain and bar cover a file for the chain tools for all your adjustments and a fuel premixing jug, and a soft carrying case. If you looking for a inexpensive saw and your using it for occasional use, its definitely the saw to look at.
