I've been using this saw for a year now with no issues. It has plenty of power. The bar and chain have not excessively worn. I did have to adjust the low and high speed needles slightly out of the box but it has run flawlessly since. Very pleased with the quality for the price.

This is a great little chain saw. Here is a little background as to ehy I bought it. We have a farm and lots of trees as well. I needed a small saw for tight tree trimming that was easy to use for that situation. We already have 4 larger saws and 2 pole saws, but not one can get in easily to trim some trees or even some lumber in certain structures like sheds and pole buildings. The local rural hardware/lumber yard had a name brand that looked similar but cost 3 times more. Yikes! So I found this model at Amazon with decent reviews and bought it! I am so far delighted. At the age of 78 I work a farm, but lifting heavier saws to cut timber or trim and prune is in diminishing time. That is the background to get the saw, now the review: -It is easy to assemble. They provide a great little manual but poor instructions if you are a novice at assembling. Just look at the parts illustration and it will work out fine. -Follow carefully the fuel mixture. They provide a nice mixture container, just choose the right mix portion as it is marked for at least 3 choices or 4. - Easy yo start. It fired on the second pull, but really started up to run on the 3rd pull. Wow! Some expensive ones on the market can takr 6 heavy pulls. Not this one. -It is light, cuts very well and fast, like the top handle as you can get in tight places, or even up a ladder. Woulf be great if you had light storm damage to trees to clear them away. - Easy to handle if older or any person with limited skills in tree trimming. -I know this is a longer review, but sometimes one is needed to help inform others. Great lil saw for the price! It's not a stihl or echo but isn't their price either. Seems to be fairly good quality although the fuel and bar oil caps seem fragile. Don't over tighten them and they should hold up. Pumped the fuel bulb, pulled out choke saw tried to start on second pull. Pushed in choke and saw consistently starts on first pull. Made a alight adjustment on carb but saw ran great out of the box. It comes with two full chisel chains that are surprisingly 3/8 chain and very sharp. Adjustment for bar oiler is on bottom under chain sprocket under a small piece of black foam. I have ran the saw 1 hour straight cutting from 1 inch to 6 inch trees and limbs with no issues. The lil saw runs like a banshee so for the price id buy it again and recommend it to any home or small farm owner. ... show more

This saw is awesome. My Stihl broke so while I needed parts I used it as an excuse to finally get a top handle saw. It’s awesome. It’s perfect for in trees. Stayed first time in 6 pulls. Runs great and idles well. Would definitely buy again.

This is a great saw. Lightweight, strong and always starts the first time. I've taken it apart and I am impressed by the quality of the unit compared to its price point. I already dropped it from 50 feet high in a tree. No real damage and it runs like a champ. My new favorite saw.

I have Stihl and Echo pro size saws that I do most of my work with, however you can only swing those big saws around so much beforre you're worn out. I intentionally bought this saw for limbing and for climbing work due to it's compact size, light weight, and 18k positive ratings. After using it for 18 months, I finally broke it when it got in a bind and the handle broke at the front mount. Too much muscling is the only reason it broke. I have been able to break my big $1000 Stihl saw more than once too, so I'm not dissapointed at all. I purchased a 3 yr product replacement plan with it and in about 4 minutes, a claim has been approved and I got every penny of my purchase price credited. Super satisfied with the saw.
