  • Better than all $200 or less chairs.
Color: Black
This chair is wonderful. I have ordered a few of the so called “best cheap ergonomic chairs recently and all were sub par or complete crap. Not gonna name any names but they’re highly recommended by YouTubers and reviews on Amazon and very annoying. This chair is well built with a great seat and the best lumbar support it’s well padded and comfortable. I can’t believe how well it’s made for the price. I’m 5’8 and 130 pounds it’s perfect I think it could hold someone comfortable at 220 pounds or so. Firm and comfortable padded seat and nice arm rests.. highly recommend over any others $200 or less. ... show more

  • Robust features for the money
Color: Black
Amazing value for the features available in this chair. Putting it together didn't take too long, approximately 20 minutes. The materials feels like they're of good quality. The adjustable seat to move it back and forward was something I never knew I need. The tilt locks were great, the positions of the levers are at good positions. Cushion of the feels just right, not too stiff or soft. The lumbar could use more depth, I had to position myself flush against the backrest to make use of it. Their customer service was very good and replied to my inquiries promptly. Cons: The screw hole for the backrest connecting to the base were not deep enough, had to use a couple washers to make it steady. Other people might not have this issue. ... show more

  • Good value; Not really big & tall, but better than most
Color: Black
5'8" 235 lbs. with a larger rear - I barely fit between the arms (16-7/8") and on the seat, but I do just fit. I'm guessing this chair would be fine for people up to 6' tall or so. This is a very good valued, basic office chair. Seat - cushion thickness is good but the foam seems a tad soft. The fabric is strong with a semi-rough texture, but doesn't have too much friction. Armrests - Only height-adjustable, but placed in a very good position. Well-padded and covered with a thin flexible, plasticky layer, that doesn't seem to act like sandpaper on my skin, which is good, and should hold up. Tilt & height mechanism - It seems to be well-designed with adjustment mechanisms that work well. When I lean all the way back, it does not feel like the chair is going to fall over backward or anything. It's very stable. Lumbar support - I've never liked lumbar supports, including this one when I first got it. I've never understood why anyone would want all the pressure they exert on the back of the chair confined to a thin strip of padded plastic. But after adjusting how I sit in this chair some and since the padding has softened some, I no longer mind it. This one is well designed: it stays where I set it and has good size - 5" wide vertically (measured top-to-bottom). Padding is not great, but okay. I think I'd even like this one if it could be recessed another inch and had an additional inch of padding. It does not look like the lumbar support can be removed without destroying it (except possibly with an extremely low-profile, single-ended, right-angle screwdriver) and I don't know if the mesh would be strong enough to provide sufficient support without it. Headrest - Pressing the head rest at juuuust the right angle causes it to retract toward the back of the chair. I find it hard to do intentionally, but easy to do when I lean back in the chair. The position it ends up in works very well for me - I find it very comfortable when I lean back and out of the way when I sit up. If you want the headrest more extended, this could be a problem if your head happens to align just right with it. Wheels - I didn't try the wheels, but they are normal casters with 2-3/8" diameter. I went straight to Oasis rollerblade-style wheels (I recommend for all floor types and especially for wood floors.) Hardware - Well packaged and clearly labelled Instructions - Surprisingly excellent, except it wasn't the clearest regarding how to align the headrest during install (see photos for help) I took 1/2 star off because the seat cushion could use a little denser foam and 1/2 star off for the lumbar support could use more padding. Building tips: 1. If your concerned at all about the space between the armrests, when you attach them, right from the start, just pull them out as far as possible and angle the front of the armrest outward slightly. There is a little bit of play where they connect to the base of the chair. 2. Tighten the arms and tilt mechanism evenly, so alternate between the different bolts as you tighten. 3. Headrest instructions were not the clearest (see my photos for how to align) 4. I really like they included an Allen wrench with a good plastic handle - just be aware handles like that can break if you really crank on them Edit - Bumped up from three stars to four, since I've gotten accustomed to the lumbar support and no longer mind it. Review updated as well. ... show more

  • Excellent chair and great value
Color: Black
I’m very impressed with the comfort and quality of this chair, especially for the price! My last office chair was a Steelcase Gesture, and I have an Aeron chair at work, but didn’t want to spend that much again. Despite being a “value” option, I’m finding it just as comfortable and sturdy as those options. Headrest is great, seat is comfortable, and the mesh material seems durable. Will update if my experience changes over time. ... show more

  • Best chair under $300?
Color: Black
I took a gamble after coming across good reviews for the EC100. I bought this with my own money and one of the first to post an actual none paid opinion. At first glance I knew it was something special. The packaging is superb and expensive. Including black button bags for everything and lots of foam I'm 6'2 175lbs. The chair overall is very good and comfy but I do have a few small issues. No matter the seat adjustment I'm always sitting on the last 2inchs of the cushion. And it's hard and uncomfortable. I have to use an aftermarket seat cushion to add more length in the back Second issue is the arm rest while very large, and soft which is great. They are to far forward. My arms are at my side when I sit naturally. These sit way out past the back mesh. This leads to hunching over. Also wish they rotate but for what I paid that's OK. Just fix them being way to far forward Overall great construction, strong build quality, 5 year no worries warranty. And comfortable after a few adjustments (mostly adding length to rear of seat). The adjustable seat, headrest and lumbar are VERY Good. Probably best chair under $300. I returned a Lazy Boy Joel to staples cause this chair destroys it and was much cheaper ... show more

  • Great chair!
Color: Black
Great comfortable chair, clear instructions, easy to assemble and looks great. Well worth it!

  • The seat is very very hard.
Color: Black
Not sure where the high density foam on the seat is because it's as hard as a rock but the rest of the chair is so customizable, I'll buy a seat cushion.
