I have only recently received this product but initially it seems to work very well for me. I am using it around the house to check battery levels, to make occasional continuity checks, and NCV detections. I do like the thermocouple cable which supports the multimeter to measure temperature. The only feature I do not like particularly is that a screwdriver is needed to change the battery, but at least the requisite screwdriver was in the box! ... show more

    • Hard to read the mode on the dial.

I just unboxed the meter, and haven't used it yet, but first impressions are underwhelming. The red letters on the dial are nearly invisible. The white letters are perfectly readable. Not using white for all the modes was a poor design choice. The wires on the temp prob are microscopic, so be very careful with those. The slip on aligator clips feel like they will very likely get loose with use. They were very tight trying them out the 1st time and after sliding them on a few times were already making me wonder how long it will be before they have a poor connection or just fall off. There are a few features I like, but because of the poor visibility of the modes I would probalby recommend passing on this one. I got a great price, so I guess I'll keep it and see how it goes. ... show more
