Hard for me to put them on the guitars but it could be my age (70 yrs. old). But when I put them on , Lord have mercy what a beautiful bright sound . I almost cried (smile). Great strings . May order some more for my 4-string bass guitar.

Great strings for the money. Like a working mans. DRs. Solid tone, even, bright and tight. With minor maintenance, wiping with a clean towel after gigs and sessions, these stay clear a long time. Dunlop makes solid products and they are killing it in the string game.

I have to say I am really pleased with the quality and tone of these strings. They also feel smooth under my finger tips and I like them better than D'Addario and Ernie Ball in this price range.

This is are great bass strings, for the price you cannot go wrong, great feeling on your fingers, lightweight, sounds really sharp. Installed on a Fender Jazz Bass V great sound.

Took my inexpensive Hadean 5 string to a whole new level vs. the stock strings. It sounded okay before, but now it sings and growls like a beast. There is more low end depth to the sound, enough that I can solo the bridge pickup without problem now. Slap/pop sound is much improved. too. The low string tension brought the playability up a notch, too. Feels and sounds like a whole new bass! Good strings at any price, A steal for what they are charging. Recommended! ... show more

5 star's across.. We kno what opinions r worth,I've played All and I mean that. Dunlop lite just work for me" I play passive and active 5 string, these strings n lite gauge allow me to bend and tap, frazing the notes with absolute clerity and exseptional brightness wich is important to me!

When they say bright, they mean it. Then again, maybe my frame of reference is broken since I rarely change bass strings. The point is they sound damn good on my Sterling 5 string.
