This device is GREAT. Put the two AAA batteries in (came with it). I also watched the video. Used it today as I needed to replace a basic light switch. Came in VERY handy. Power switch on my old sensor from a different brand was the clip sliding back and forth. It never worked right, and you couldn’t tell if it was on or off. This one has a power button and lights up green when it’s on, and flashes red when it detects voltage. Audible alert is loud enough for my deaf ears to hear it. Glad I got this one. Used this to check for a circuit in the wall and I'm clearly still alive. That alone speaks for the accuracy of this tool. But no jokes, Klein Tools are quality. They cost more but they have durable, well-built, accurate and do what they are made to do.
