When I ordered this the first box that came was empty. I contacted Amazon and they had another sent very quickly. If you are looking to buy this you must have some electrical experience and have heard of Fluke. These are amazing and pretty accurate, I got the combo that has the 117 multimeter and the 323 amp clamp. I work in industrial maintenance so the need for the is fairly simple. Checking contacts, fuses, relays and so on. The product it self is made very well, a thick yellow rubber shell on the multimeter feels really good in the hand. Also I don’t know if it’s standard with this set but I got a nice lead set (pictured) that has a swivel cover on the tips. Which is nice for smaller stuff like circuit boards. Then when you need you can slide them down to test things like a contact in an E-Stop no problem. You won’t regret buying from this company. I know guys who have had their meter for 25+ years. I purchased this set for work about 4 years ago. I use the multimeter daily. It has all of the features I need, and the test leads have detented shrouds that cover the tips - high quality. Not an electrician, but a maintenance mechanic / service tech for 30+ years. The clamp meter seems to be accurate with amperage readings, and makes this kit perfect for everyday. I like the set so much, I just purchased this one to have at home (the other set was purchased by my company). It's a Fluke, so I know I'll probably never buy another one in my lifetime. In the past, I bought the cheap crap and I don't think I ever had one last more than 3 months. The temp probe is missing from this kit (bought used, like new on Amazon) and that bugs me a bit. I think I used the one in my work kit once or twice, so not really a huge deal - but when you buy something, you want all that's supposed to be with it. Overall, I'm very happy to have a set for home use now. I had a really old Fluke meter that was given to me - I just handed it down to a younger dude who's just getting his feet wet. Very durable, very accurate. Kinda expensive at first glance. However, if you use it daily or even occasionally- it’s dead accurate and worth the “additional” expense. Because it’s true RMS calibrated, it’s perfect for checking resistance in sound applications. Also it’s a workhorse for journey electrical applications. ... show more

Initially I thought the meter is not well calibrated, since it shows 0.1 ohm resistance instead of 0.0 when short with bear leads. In aviation, all instruments must be calibrated and certified for accuracy. We sent this unionist to the lab for testing and certification. It required no calibration and was spot-on for certified uses!
