This is a great kit for beginners. My teenage son has started to work out and I thought this would be a great addition to our home gym. You will need to purchase a filler for the bag. The directions recommended a 10lb sandbag in the middle for the weight and stuffing old blankets or similar items around that. You can add more weight if you desire. The gloves are especially nice quality, but do a have a strong scent that takes a few days to dissipate. This has worked perfect for our beginner and was exactly what we were looking for.

This is a complete beginner kit for those looking to get started in contact sports. The "heavy bag" has a 50-pound weight limit, so it cannot be filled entirely with sand. I lined it with an old memory foam bed pad and filled the remainder with white sand from the hardware store. Make sure it is dry first, and fill it with any of the suggestions in the pamphlet. My set did not have a distinct smell, as other reviewers did. The 12 OZ gloves are generously sized and well-padded. The jump rope is relatively light and has nice padded grips. The grip strengthener is adjustable for both beginners and more advanced users. There is also a set of hand wraps; if you don't know how to wrap your hands properly and plan to do a lot of punching, I suggest you look online for instructions, as they are not included. This product is offered at a reasonable price, and I recommend it.

At the request of my sister, I've been looking for a punching bag for my young niece and nephew to get some aggression out with. This fit the bill perfectly. It comes with everything you need to mount or hang it. And you can set the weight of the bag to whatever you desire. I look at all of the other accessories as a bonus.

My daughter has recently started kickboxing and wanted her own gloves. I got her this set and she's very happy with the quality of the gloves and the bag. The extra accessories are an added bonus and she's found that the tape worked great when taping up her hands. She especially recommends the gloves and says they are great quality.

This boxing bag set will make a great addition to my home gym. It came with the boxing bag, boxing gloves, jump rope, hand wraps, and a grip trainer. The boxing bag came with all the hardware necessary to hang it from the ceiling or a bag stand. The only con is that the bag had that chemical scent that a lot of products seem to have but it should go away. I'll be airing it out outside for a day or so. Currently working on filling it up. Will definitely fill it with some of the old clothes my wife wants me to get rid of. For the price, it's a pretty good deal.

This boxing set-up is a good beginning to a home gym. Everything for boxing or martial arts exercising is included, except there is no fill included for the bag. You will have to purchase that separately or use old clothes or filler. The bag and gloves have a strong smell of prawns that I'm hoping will air out. I'm setting this up in my garage, so it's not as big a deal as it would be setting up in your living area. I'm withholding 1 star for no bag filler and unpleasant smell.
