    • Bought this for my dad who has Parkinson's Disease to keep him strong!
My dad was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. I set up the bag in his garage and have been training him with basic punches and footwork. It's just the beginning, but I've never seen him smile so much since his diagnosis and he also said it was a lot of fun! The 40 lb bag is perfect for him and my mom both in their mid-80s. The bag is of excellent quality, camed filled and I purchased "Yes4All Wood Beam Punching Bag Hanger" to hang the bag. I'm determined to train both my parents. Boxing has proven to be very effective for those suffering from Parkinson's. Google it and you'll find multiple articles on the benefit of boxing for balance, coordination, and more importantly mental health. I looked for many bags, and this $40 bag is well made for kids or elderlies. I'm planning on anchoring the bottom to keep it more stabilized as well. So far, the bag been the best medicine for my dad. Wish us luck! ... show more
