I bought this for burning weeds in my concrete driveway. I gave it an honest test, then returned it. 1. The fuel adjusting valve was really wonky. It turned past the shutoff point so I could never be sure it was truly shut off. The valve wasn't stripped, it just would stop turning at different places on the dial. It varied the amount of propane being released - from a trickle so low that the flame would go out (non-windy conditions) to full blast Katie-grab-the-hose, all without ever touching the valve. 2. The igniter did not work. Not once. I was able to light it with my bbq lighter, and then the real fun began. See #1. 3. The flame kept going out. See #1. 4. Directions say to only run it for 2 minutes at a time. Really? Didn't matter though...see #3. I was REALLY uncomfortable using this. I tested it twice on separate days to make sure it was the unit having the problem and not me. It went back to Amazon.

This works OK, but there are problems with the gas valve. After turning the valve all the way OFF, it will still spit and sputter flame. The valve is also not very smooth to operate.
