Bought this for my Husband when he took off to the academy. He used it for movie night for his dorm and others were able to connect a speaker (not sure if it was wireless). My husband bought a generic phone connector for the projector and it worked fine. I can’t remember which app didn’t work with the projector, but I do remember watching hulu. Sound quality from the machine is fine despite the fan working along side, however, this is based on using it in a bedroom with couple of people at night.

I needed to replace my compact projector that I purchased a few years back. First impressions of the FUDONI projector was well built (and well protected during shipping). It was a bit larger than my 'pocket projector' I had earlier, but the FUDONI projector sure packs a punch! I won't compare to my prior projector anymore, as there really isn't a comparison... The old projector needed a pitch black room to see the picture, whereas with the FUDONI projector can be used almost anywhere/anytime. Size - The FUDONI projector is about the size of my hand and has the weight of a well built device without being too heavy. All the cables are included in the shipping box, which I would recommend as a storage and transportation box as needed. I tripod connector is on the bottom of the device which will come into use when using at a portable location. Initial setup - this was about as simple as it gets! Plugged in the device, projected onto a bare wall, and the home screen provides quick access to several inputs (HDMI, VGA, USB, Bluetooth, and Screen Mirroring). I started with screen mirroring to my iPhone. Connecting to my home wireless network took about 15 seconds, and then I was able to mirror directly to the device. I was streaming to the projector less than one minute after unboxing! Quality of picture and sound - I was shocked at the quality of both the picture and sound of the FUDONI projector! As mentioned earlier, the brightness (or lumens) output by this projector allows viewing during the day in a normal room in the house - dark basement room isn't needed! This is a huge benefit from lower brightness projectors. The sound from the internal speakers also shocked me. I was sitting 20 feet away from the projector and the sound was perfect. I tested with an external speaker as well, and to be honest, the internal speaker sounded better - more 'stereo' than my external speaker. Out of the box, both the picture and sound were great, but within the settings menu, there are more settings if you wish to customize. Other features - Sleep Mode - this is great, especially with the kids always leaving things on. Having a sleep mode will help conserve power and the life of the projector when it's not in use. Lens Cover - while seems basic, this lens cover is well manufactured and will protect the lens from dirt and scratches. Remote - since I was able to control everything from my iPhone, I haven't used the remote yet, but I am certain it will come into use in the future. Screen - I have a screen that I built earlier, so didn't review the included screen, but will be a great benefit to some - especially those with dark walls. Final takeaway - With all the choices of projectors available today, this FUDONI projector packs a bunch of power in a compact size. The picture and sound are on par with industrual projectors costing thousands of dollars. I would highly recommend this projector to anyone in the market!

For the moment I like it, indoor the image is good, but the horrible thing is when you connect the projector to any speakers with cables, Bluetooth or other way you can not hear enough volume .

It was fairly easy to configure and I have it mounted to the ceiling. The volume that some complained about it not bad in a bedroom where this is but I would still recommend connecting it to a Bluetooth speaker for better sound. The only issue I had with it, and maybe there is a setting I have missed, was I there is no zoom feature to adjust the size on the screen. On larger projectors I have had in the past, there was a lever on them to change the picture size. The one in that spot for this projector is to adjust the picture shape when the projector is at an angle to the flat well. That worked great but my picture is slightly larger than the screen on the wall. I did not see a way in any of the menus to adjust the picture size. For the price though, it was cheaper than replacing the bulb on the old projector we had. My daughter can project her phone to this one as well which is great as we only had HDMI before.

False advertising this does not work as advertised. You cannot connect to wifi and sign into aps via this projector as the images make you think, all you can link it to some phones and screen mirror cast to it (most aps prohibit screen casting when viewing movies on prime or netflix etc. ) UPDATED- customer service has sent me a replacement upgrade that is capable of connecting to Netflix and other apps all works as expected with it. Great customer service.

Quality is good i guess for the price compared to what I've seen. My main complaint is, the sound from the projector itself. If all is quite and in 1 small room, sound is like loud whispers for me. I can hear it but rather have louder sound where I don't strain to hear. U must have speakers definitely for anything larger. I still like it and I'm not upset about this because it says u can Bluetooth speakers so I expected it. Sound is the only reason for a 4 star rating. Would be 5 if it could at least be loud enough for 1 room without a whisper and straining to hear. Again compared to others, my expected use the price is amazing and I'm overall happy.

I made this purchase thinking I was going to be able to watch Nextflix, Amazon videos etc…I was so disappointed when I contacted the manufacturer and they advised me that I will not be able to mirror my apple devices to play movies due to copyright. I contacted the company and they said to connect it using HDMI cables which I dude en before calling them. I’m in technical support so my career and engineering skills so I told the gentleman he was insulating my intelligence so I will definitely be returning this projector. Be truthful and say that on your description. Thank you for your time. That time I spent waiting on the phone I will never get back. I feel you should have paid me. The representative was not knowledgeable about the matter and was very upsetting
