  • Good products
Gave this as a gift, but they seem very satisfied with it.

  • Good
DO NOT accidentally put the pizza tray in worng like shown in picture it got stuck and I ended up spilling cheese on the heating element it must be on the rail it is easy to accidentally do this and It is challenging to guess how long each pizza should be in for so don't read the box and throw it in cause it will probably burn it after about 14 min I would go 10min in the picture it was in for 14min check on very often till you figure i Out the right amount of time but it is faster than regular gas ovens so thats a plus ... show more

  • I got one of the good ones
I scoured the internet in search of reviews on this product prior to purchase. Most were positive, but some complained of a 'defective' baker. I think it's either the way it's shipped or perhaps literally some of the ovens are not made correctly and still shipped out. I'm not sure. Personally, mine works like a gem. Is it perfect? No, but you get what you pay for. If you want a perfect one you have to spend 150+ dollars. The only bad part about this oven is at times it can cook different pizza styles completely different. I can put a thicker crust pizza in for 8 minutes and have it be perfect, but I can put a thin crust pizza in and have it take 10-14 minutes, sometimes with it not being perfect still after that amount of time. It will still be done on most occasions, but not to some people's liking. The key really is just to make sure you watch it, like you would with a pizza in the oven. If you watch it, you can take it out when it's just perfect. Overall, for $50 (what I paid) it's a heck of a deal. If you have to pay ~75 or more, I'd say just splurge on a better one. ... show more

  • It's ok, for my first pizza oven.
Putting the handle on- a bit confusing - but we got it on. ok, no big. Cooked our first pizza, it cooks hotter on the left back area of oven. We cooked it for 8 mins, back looked cooked, front looked like it needed more time, we turned pizza around - and cooked it for 4 more mins. Now, as we 've used it a few times, sometimes the back of the pizza is overcooked, and so we have tried going 6 mins then turning- then its not cooked enough. Turning it, then cooking for 4 more mins, sometimes the buzzer will not go off. The front panel also doesn't completely seal up the opening, could be why the front of the oven is not as hot, probably. If you want a good pizza oven, spend more. ... show more

  • Very good Pizza Oven
I bought this one to replace a similar one that had been damaged in a recent move. The price was very good, and it works like a charm. I use it to cook frozen pizzas or heat/toast sandwiches. It also works great to heat up left over pizza. I have not yet had any troubles fitting a frozen pizza or decent sized sandwich in it. (I was kind of concerned based on the dimensions, I wasn't sure if it was as big as my old one, which it was.) It cooks the pizzas or sandwiches much better than the standard oven, uses less energy (no heating the entire house for a snack), and heats up and cooks very quickly. The piece that slides into the oven is a wire rack or grate, So there would be an issue cooking smaller pieces of food. Overall very versatile and good for those of us without a lot of kitchen space. ... show more

  • Takes me back to my childhood
Works really good the only thing is you need to rotate the pizza around you cook evenly

  • Much larger than expected, and runs hot! Re-edited review 1 year later!
Edit 2:4 year review: oven stopped working. Opened it up, and found the connectors to the heat element wear due to the constant heating and cooling. The corrosion protection coating comes off, and the wire heat insulation crumbles like dry breadcrumbs falling off a wire (theres really no resemblance to how fragile the insulation is)... Sparks start forming, and the copper wire quite literally melts. A simple solution, is to resqueeze the connectors with pliers, and change out the ones that had the wire disconnected. The good thing is that it's easily fixed, if you know a bit of the basics about electricity. The bad thing is, these ovens will be thrown away by the thousands, as most people don't have the tools, or time to repair these. EDIT: 1 year later review: The ringer has stopped working, no longer alarming when the pizza is ready, And now also the timer stopped working (allowing the oven to burn indefinitely), thank goodness I saw it just on time. Original review follows below: The box itself could probably host 13" or small 14" pizzas. The sheer size is much larger than my previous pizza makers. It said a pizza could be made in 15 minutes, and it did! From fully frozen, my thin pizza was ready to eat in 15 minutes, without preheating, and just the right amount of crunch in the crust. Not bad for a first try! Now the cons! This pizza maker looks professional, but the handle and tray feel flimsy. The door closes with a gap (not aligned). It doesn't look good with the handle sticking out, taking up precious countertop space, but one can lift up the handle to an up position. Although not sure I would lift up the handle many times, seeing it feels like it's only going to last a good 50-100 flips, before it'll stop staying in the up position altogether! But by far it's biggest 2 flaws are, that it only has 1 heat setting, so it works well for thin pizzas, nothing else. And it also is single layer aluminum (or steel). Meaning, the device gets very hot on the top! To the point of burning yourself, or even things on top of it! I'm not sure, if there are heat resistant silicone sheets I can place on top, to prevent my child from touching it, or placing things on top while in operation? This differentiates a true professional device from a wannabe to me, and this device, I'm surprised it passed any safety inspections whatsoever! I also don't believe it has a thermal protection circuit built in, so this device might potentially cause a home fire. The good thing is, it's cheap, and you can still get one, before the lawsuits will follow and pull this device from the shelves in USA! Get it while you can, or stay away from it, if you care about fully compliance devices. ..should be illegal to sell in USA!... *Edit: I've purchased this silicone mat, to protect my hands and my stuff from the heat: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C5SJLX2 It states it's heat resistant to 446F, which the oven inside shouldn't even exceed 400F, so the upper layer will probably be around 380F, well within the specifications of the silicone mat. ... show more
