They help maintain water quality during the winter for up to 30,000 gallons. The kit could not be easier to use. There is no measuring, no guesswork, nor any complicated steps. All you have to do is take out the white plug, plop the capsules into your pool, and let them do their job. The capsules are durable and dispense the chemicals gradually over time to keep your pool clear through the winter. The Winter Closing Kit contains two winterizing capsules with the active ingredients of water, modified chitosan, sodium benzoate, and enzymes. These capsules are designed to slowly release the winterizing treatment into your pool when dropped in before covering it for the season. This was my first time using these capsules and I was very pleased with the packing and the attractive presentation of the capsules. Full instructions were included to ensure proper usage. I love how easy it was to winterize my pool with these capsules and here's hoping they are as effective as they are attractive. I will update this review when the time to open the pool for the summer arrives. For now, I am optimistic that they will work splendidly. Time will tell. This kit was much more affordable than buying all the chemicals separately and I would not hesitate to use it again in the future. I am looking forward to opening my pool come summer!!! This Professional Pool Winter Closing Kit couldn't be easier to use. When closing the pool you just drop in both containers included in this kit. This kit also claims to treat up to 30,000 gallon pools which is pretty large so this will cover a lot of ground. The typical pool closing is always a bummer as I hate to see the summer end but this kit makes it a little more bearable. At the current price of $13.99 I feel this is a good value for the money. Even if it only helps a little it is well worth it in the spring. For this to be at its highest effectiveness you should have the PH dialed in and have good water transparency before closing the pool. This is one thing a lot of people gloss over but it is as important as keeping chlorine levels correct, it has to be in good balance or there will be issues. Maintaining clear water all summer in your pool can be tricky and a clean start is the best thing you can do.

I can’t give stars as I don’t know how it will be at opening season. I will come back then and let you all know. So let’s move forward. EASY TO USE!! Simple is nice. Make sure to read directions; however, you can’t beat easy. I mean they have taken all the scientific chemical work of closing a pool and made it into a pool closing for dummies kit. The price is totally reasonable. Great value and no chemicals to store from year to year. I took a peek and the water is maintaining its transparency. Crystal clear. I also found my daughter’s ponytail holder. The capsules are durable and so far the effectiveness is blowing my mind. So simple!!

We live in Pennsylvania, so we don’t get to use our swimming pool year round. We really hate when the season ends and we have to start closing up the pool for the winter. Since we don’t have a professional pool cleaner that comes and cleans our pool, it’s hard to know exactly how many chemicals to put in your pool to winterize it. This kit was amazing. This professional pool winter closing kit for above ground pools and inground pools takes the guest work out of how many chemicals you need. Now this kit is good to use on Pools up to 30,000 gallons. So it doesn’t matter if you have 5 gallons or 30,000 gallons it’s going to work. You can’t have too many chemicals in the water when it is closed for winter. This is the easiest thing I think we’ve ever had to do closing the pool. it closes your pool in seconds. All you do is drop it in. There’s no measuring and no mixing. This will keep your pool clear, protected, and preserved all winter. You will definitely see a visible result when you open your pool in the spring. We’re usually you have leaves, etc., and a little green algae. You will not have it when you open up next spring. I highly recommend this product.

This professional winter pool closing kit is everything you need to keep the pool nice and clear through the winter. They are very simple to use, simply peel off the protective tape and drop the two capsules (with hole side down) into the pool before placing the cover over the pool for the winter. When reopening the pool for the summer, it is much clearer and easier to get it up and running. This simple system will treat up to 30,000 gallons of pool water for the winter season. It is very efficient and works well. For just $20, this is a great value for the money because it keeps from purchasing a lot of chemicals to get the pool chemistry back in line when opening it back up. It is a small investment now to save a much bigger investment later. This set is made with non-toxic materials too for peace of mind. This is a quality-made set, simple and convenient, for a great price, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

I've used a few different winterizers on my above ground pool over the last few years, and this one works just as good as others, but is offered at a lower price, which is nice. The instructions for use are pretty straightforward and the capsule material is durable and holds up in water, releasing the chemicals a little at a time as intended. I recommend this pool winterizing kit to anyone looking for a good quality product at a good price.
