This net is fine and seems sturdy. Only 2 issues.. first.. and not really a big deal but.. the orange color one is VERY bright orange. I love orange things, but this thing.. even though my pool deck is a good 350 feet from the road, you can see the thing coming down the street. Don't get the orange one. The other thing is more of a real thing.. The net floats. It's very buoyant. You might say, "Oh, that's fine, that way if I drop it in the water I can retrieve it".. yea but.. This is the type of net you use to scoop leaves off the bottom of the pool. It actually takes a fair bit of effort to sink it down to the bottom. ... show more

Heads up, this is just the net to scoop the pool, so it you don't have an existing one to replace, you will need to get a pole to put this on. Poles are inexpensive and easy to find, but just an FYI. This is a great pool net. It is able to get into the depths and get the debris out easily, whereas those flat skimmers aren't great at that. It would be great for ponds, if you need to corral your fish. And it's very sturdy. I'm happy with it. ... show more

I have to say that upon receiving this product I didn't immediately thing "luxury". I do not expect to see this proudly displayed in million dollar homes or being promoted by models on TikTok. This skimmer is more of a strong, well built, blue collar product that is a good value for the money.
