I travel frequently to countries with 220V/European plugs and was fighting frequently with adaptor plugs on my dual voltage hairdryer. This dryer is compact enough to act as a travel drier, it works well and is relatively quiet. The only complaint I have is that the plug is type E, which is the plug with the slightly wider pin (compared to euro-plug C). It does not fit in all sockets, I had to use a adaptor in Chile for instance. ... show more

Do you know how sometimes you read reviews, wondering how people use their items?I am in my thirties and this is my first negative review. I wanted a small and simple dryer. Really small, so I could easily dry my full head of hair without the dryer feeling heavy. This met my criteria, so I gave it a try. Not only does the dryer „waver“, meaning it goes on and off during drying, it is straight up dangerous. I dried the hair at the side of my head, moved the blower away from my head and it SUCKED in my hair, melting it of and also melting my head to its back. It broke. My hair, not the dryer. I am now, after decades of drying my hair, left with melted top hair at the front side of my head. Any product, no matter the price, should be SAFE. I bought this for a trip to Europe. I did not want to deal with a converter for an item like this. This hair dryer was amazing! It is so much better than the one I have to use here at home (USA). I’m glad I bought this for my Korea trip because the cord was made for places like Korea and I can’t wait to take it with me to other places I travel to. I only had one travel converter and it was a good thing this hair dryer didn’t need a converter! So I was able to charge my phone with my travel converter and blow dry my hair at the same time. I also like how there’s an attachment for the cord to use in the US so that I can use it back at home too. It’s not as “quiet” as I hoped it would be but it is pretty quiet compared to my other hair dryers. I also noticed that my hair felt softer after using it. Dryer is not very powerful and it is not small. Although it does fold up, it is a standard size dryer. Advertised as good for international travel. It comes with built in plug for some countries and converter for US sockets, but you will still need other converters for other countries.
