I absolutely love this! I have been looking for something to use for my 3yr old daughter's 3C hair. The blow drier and comb was always a fight. She would always scream and pull away because how much it hurt her, knot her hair, and pulled her hair. I watched a lot of video tutorials and reviews and dove in and purchased it. I am so happy I did. She sat still the whole time and said it did not hurt or pull at all. It did not get overly hot. She was able to sit there comfortably. Traveling - it is bulky and does not come with a carrying case. I put it back in the box to store it for now, but hopefully will find something to put it in that also keeps it protected. Use- at first it was awkward to try to hold on to, but once I got use to it, it was a lot easier to move around. I really like that it gives you a place to put the wand onto. 100% recommend - (Already told some of my friends and they have purchased for their kiddos) ... show more

This is such an amazing hair dryer and I’m so grateful for this company. Other than the price, this is an incredible buy for any hair texture. I’m a girly girl 3B through 4C and this had my hair looking like I got a silk press! I also love the fact that I’m a natural hair girl that with this product, I can either go big Afro or sleek depending on the tension level and heat level that I use. The drying time is amazing. Follow the instructions closely! Smaller sections give you a more detailed dry closer to your scalp. Also, don't expect your hair to dry quickly if your hair is soaking wet. Remove the extra moisture before drying for best results. I love the fact that I can use the tension feature to stretch out my hair according to my own specifications. It definitely does what it’s purported to do but it’s also a bit cumbersome to use, especially in the back of the head. The handheld portion is a bit weighty, plus there’s a huge hose attached, so behind the head it’s a work out. There’s also a bit of a learning curve in getting used to working at the required angles. Temperature settings are pretty great. I will wait for a few more iterations before I try it again. I think they have a great product but it needs a bit more engineering. ... show more

I LOVE this dryer. While clearly this is much more bulky than a traditional dryer, it's still worth it. I have 2 young daughters and this has eliminated the tears on wash day. It does not pull at the hair. Nor does it get extremely hot. I have zero regrets with this purchase.

    • My arm is tired.
The media could not be loaded. I’m giving it 1 star because this thing is very very big and bulky. It’s a heavy object to have holding over your head for 20 minutes. It does dry the roots which is a good thing but the hair isn’t as smooth or straight as advertised. It also takes about the same time to dry. Even though there were 3 heat and power options, your going to use the highest for both which really just puts it in the average range for both heat and power. I would have liked to be at a level 5 with some room to increase the intensity but at it’s max it’s just as strong as a regular blow dryer. If I kept this thing I’d have to find a huge box or bag to store it in. It has a long hose so storing it under my bathroom sink won’t work nor can I put it in a draw. This is a $100 product with all its shortcomings. Great idea but needs so much work to make it useful for most people to use and enjoy. I guess it would work better if someone else was using it on you. But then the storage problem. Overall… I’m returning it. ... show more

I went back & forth on whether to buy this product for 6 months! I kept talking myself out of it, mostly because of the price & because as a mom of 3 littles I hardly ever have time to blow out my hair anyways, so figured I couldn't justify buying something so expensive that I'd probably hardly use. So honestly when I finally pulled the trigger I had it in my mind that I would try it out, and realize the negative reviews were right, and I'd return it. But I just needed to try it out for myself. The first I tried it, was in a rush and I hadn't realized that the hose that connects to the part that pulls your hair in, was not connected properly.. and no heat was being generated. I was kind of disappointed but relieved, thinking that at least I could say I tried it out firsthand and it doesn't actually work that well. Luckily before packing it up to return, I decided I'd give it one more shot when I was not in a rush. And that is when I realized it was not connected right. So I put my 45 second timer and turned it on. And when my hair came out this time, it was not the only thing blown away...I couldn't believe it.. literally like when I leave the salon. My hair naturally wavy. For the rest of my head I played around with the tension level and the heat setting. It took my 6:30 min to do all my hair! With my hot tools brush it can take anywhere from 20min-30min... and it doesn't come out as well. So I am now short $400 BUT because of how much time it saves me, I know I will use it often. I can't speak for those with other hair textures but mine is not straight and it worked very well. I will try it on my sister with curly hair and update. ... show more

I have seen this item being praised on YouTube for about 7 months and hearing how it's worth the money. To be HONEST, I was very hesitant about purchasing it. So, I decided to take a chance to see if it's worth the money based on the HYPE that I have been seeing on YouTube. Here are my HONEST opinions about this item. The drying power is 4 stars for me because it did eliminate 15 minutes off my drying routine. It is user friendly and deserve 5 stars because the instructions for usage and assembling was easy to follow. I gave it 3 stars for value of money. I don't think that this is basically a $400 hair dryer (even though on the day that I purchased it, I got a $40 off coupon). I believe that this item is at least $260 because even though it may eliminate some of my hair drying time, I could have pretty much save money if I let my hair air dry for a few minutes and then use a regular hair dryer. Overall rating is 3 stars for because, it's a convenient item to have, but not a GREAT item for the amount of money that I paid for it. ... show more
