I love this hairdryer. If you can afford to splurge it’s well worth it. I wish I had purchased one earlier. I used to get so hot drying my hair, it’s definitely half the time or better. Has a great straightening attachment that can be used on wet or dry hair. I air dry my hair half way and finish with the attachment, it’s really easy and fast. I also love to use on dry hair. If you have fine hair, or hair with flyaways, then this is an absolute must for you!! My breakage was beyond and my hair was out of control, I had basically given up that I’d have nice hair. Fries so fast, the handle is easy to hold and the shorter length of the barrel makes it so much easier to maneuver. Attachments mean different styles are easy to achieve. I chose this over the airwrap for the diffuser for my daughter’s long extremely thick curly hair. With no change in any products my hair is silky soft and glossy. Zero flyaways and lasts all day. I have long, thick, naturally curly hair that holds water. Air drying my hair can take anywhere from 8-12 hours for it to be fully dry. I get a relaxer once a year to help make the curls more manageable throughout the year but it’s still a lot to handle. I was on the fence about this hair dryer because of the price and I wasn’t sure if it would work on my type of hair. I splurged after my stylist used the Dyson and it seemed to speed up the process significantly. I didn’t think it would work as well for me, but boy was I wrong. This thing is a GODSEND. Before this hair dryer it took me 60-75 minutes to dry my hair fully. Yes, you read that right. At least an hour. I would be thrilled to get it done in 55 minutes. But with the Dyson, it takes 25-30 mins and although blow drying your hair can never be enjoyable, this is about as close as you can get. The heat and speed settings are perfect, the dryer is light and easy to maneuver. I love everything about this and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to cut down on the time and difficulty of blow drying your hair. ... show more

I had a good hairdryer, at least I thought so… SuperSonic cut dry time in half. It doesn’t get your hair super hot like ordinaries hairdryers therefore it doesn’t damage your hair as much. It was like going from a Corolla to a Ferrari! I highly recommend it! Best purchase ever!

There are many great hair dryers. For my family, TIME is the issue. Who has the time to sit around drying your hair?? We want a dryer that works fast so we can get to what we need to do. Although very expensive, this is the best dryer to get the job done quickly. The rapid flow of air combined with high heat dries more quickly than the other less powerful products. Yes, this is terribly expensive, three or four times the cost of some very fine hair dryers. But if you want the best, and a few minutes of saved time each day means a lot to you, then this is the product for you. Like other Dyson products, this is a well engineered and finely made product, very worthy of a fine set of hair care tools. Also, it is relatively small in size, and more easily stored and dealt with than the other dryers which are much larger. The electrical cord if heavier and shorter than for other driers, but that issue is not a deal breaker, given the other advantages of this fine product. ... show more
