I bought this blow dryer after I saw it at my favorite barbershop and asked my barber about it. This is a very lightweight but extremely powerful little device. For all that power, it is surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately, the blow dryer stopped generating heat about six months after I purchased it. When I reached out to customer service, I was blown away with the level of responsiveness and positivity which included a few suggestions to see if the problem can be solved quickly and a very quick replacement product when the problem didn’t go away. I got a new dryer within a few days after I contacted the company. During the entire process, the customer service rep (Mandy) stayed in constant touch and made sure I got the unit and everything was working as it was supposed to. I have had this hairdryer for almost two years and I love it. It is powerful and has many options to adjust heat and speed. It is lightweight and compact. One of the coolest features is that you can clean the filter by pressing and holding the middle button for 7 seconds (when the hair dryer is turned off) and it will power the blower in reverse to blow out stuff that has accumulated in the filter. (It explains this in the instructions booklet, but I didn't read the instructions and Mandy from customer service helpfully explained it to me.) It's also very easy to take the filter pieces off and give them a rinse. I have a hairdresser friend who has had her Slopehill hairdryer even longer than I have and she uses it throughout the day 5 days a week with no problems. I highly recommend this hairdryer. I was debating between a Dyson (at almost 3x the price of this one) and the Slopehill model. I'm happy with my choice! ... show more

Im a professional barber and I sat on this blowdryer for a few weeks before I decided to buy it for my shop. I am SO glad I did. It's by far the best blowdryer I have ever owned. I actually really want to purchase it for personal use now I love it so much. I bought this when it was on sale for 99. Honestly at the price it is now, It is still absolutely worth it. I have had several clients ask me about the blowdryer and a few have even purchased it "for their wife." Suuuuure Ted! -Its extremely quiet. No more yelling or pausing the conversation during a blow dry. -its lightweight and ergonomic for my tiny toddler hands. -I dont use the diffuser a ton but when I DO? Yo Curly Sue is that you? -Yes, it gets hot. I rarely use it on the full heat setting. But I think the lowest heat setting works great as well and have had no clients complain about the warmth. -the cord length is AMAZING. In my quest for the perfect blowdryer, I found most cords are a maximum of roughly 6 ft. I have even found some that are...GASP...4 ft. These are way too short for the average professional. This cord is like 9 or 10 feet and its great. The one con, it has NO loop. I kept the velcro cord wrap on it and use that as a loop but its not ideal. It always slides down the cord and gets hairy (ya know, cuz its velcro). Thats the ONE bugaboo about this product. Overall, yes I recommend it and will continue to. Even when I dont recommend it, it catches peoples eye because it just looks slick. I love this tool so much. I had never heard of the Slopehill brand before this and now will forever be a Slopehill lover (am I laying it on pretty thick? Yes but its true!) ... show more

I have had my hair dryer for awhile but the little clip broke on the small attachment. I contacted customer service and even though I am out of warranty they are sending me a whole new dryer. SUPER lightweight, comfortable to hold & has the most power of any dryer I've EVER owned!! I don't have super long hair but it is very thick & my hair is dry in less than 10 min with this dryer. Best part is the reverse fan feature for cleaning dust/lint out. PLUS the filter area comes off so you can clean it even more!! You won't be sorry if you order it! ... show more

I love this dryer. My hair drys in no time. It’s so light weight that I can raise the dryer over my head for better control of the heat and air flow. For travel, if the handle folded, the dryer would be perfect.
