I got this water flosser for my daughter who is in her first stage of braces so she could floss her teeth without have to fight to get actual floss around the braces. She found the experience of using this to be a bit scary as it started shooting her in the face and really caught her off guard. While everyone around her found the situation amusing, she did not. The Kids Water Flosser works well. To be honest, I ordered this for my adult self. I have been using it for several days and I find that it works as well as my old water flosser even though this one is supposed to be for kids. It has 3 setting by age. It can be locked in any one of those settings. I locked mine in the setting for 12+. It also has a massage mode that is locked in with the setting that you choose. A set of stickers is included for children to paste onto the water flosser. It is chargeable so there are no cords or cables when in use. The instructions are helpful for locking the setting you want. It is easy to fill and use. I do recommend placing the nozzle in your mouth before turning it on so that it does not spray everywhere. ... show more

This smaller sized water flosser is the perfect size for my wife who is petite in size and she doesn’t like trying to use the bigger and bulkier adult-sized flosser. Height wise, they are actually almost the same size but the circumference is about half the size. That just means that the water reservoir has about half the capacity. This is a great flosser for a child - it is designed for small hands - and has variable pressure. I have a similar "adult" one that actually uses the same heads and looks quite a bit like this. It also works just about the same - so except for the handle design - which is great for a child - this is very much an adult flosser.
