One year of surveying work, hiking up and down steep hills, traversing through the woods, construction work, they’ve held up really well for a boot that’s not meant for hiking. A ridiculously comfortable steel toe boot, they can be a bit heavy at times but still comparable to a composite toe. Good quality, good design. Highly recommend for someone on their feet all day, clean/oil them once every couple months and they’ll stay solid.

Thorp good boots are great; high quality made in America boots. They have a tendency to run significantly more narrow that other work boots; I ordered these in a wide and they fit well (I do not typically wear a wide shoe). Also, I always hear to size down half a size in work boots; I ordered true to size and in a wide, they fit comfortably. Probably could go a bit more snug, but a size down was too small, and in the winter with thicker socks I’ll be glad to have the extra space.

Great quality boots made with quality leather. These boots have a short break in time and are extremely comfortable. They seem to run a little on the slim side so I went with a wide and have been very happy so far. Sole wear is acceptable, great color and have maintained waterproof in light weather climate.

Very few things are made to last forever anymore. I’ve only had this boots for a few weeks but I can already tell they’re going to outlive me True to size. Didn’t really need to break them in. Done several 2 mile walks on sidewalks and wore them all day at work.

This is a 100% honest working man's review.I have owned Georgia, Carolinas ,and now these boots. I bought these boots because they were American made. On day 1 my right boot leaked water . After day 30 my feet hurt so bad. I would return them but my wife got rid of the box they came in . I own a excavating bussiness and will never buy another pair of these boots again back to Georgia boots for me.

My husband has two pair of these. This style and the one with a slightly stacked heel. We have purchased these for gifts for two employees. My husband is a logger and is on his feet all day. He raves about the comfort level. They fit perfectly. Pricey but worth it. The sole is flexible allowing a better level of comfort. However, walking through the woods all day he does need more traction but still prefers this style for comfort.
