Glad it does not leave residue- next time I am going to spray with a garden weed type sprayer and only use water to clean or rinse - better for the carpet. I bought this product because my carpet cleaner person recommended it and he was not wrong. It cleaned up a very messy stain from where my dog threw up. I had to do it twice, but I am very happy that the stain is gone and my carpet looks clean again.
