I’ve had this ice machine for a few months and it’s been a life saver. We had a HOT summer and our water main has been above ground for months due to construction so we haven’t had cold or even cool water for months and this has been used EVERYDAY since we got it. I clean it every few weeks with acid on the cleaning cycle wash it out every week and empty it every night and we haven’t had no issues. It makes a good amount of ice. Once it gets low on water or if it gets full and doesn’t employ on time it makes a little bit of ice that is more of a shaved ice texture, but you can just scoop it out and refill the machine. It’s very chewable ice, it’s not loud and it is reliable for sure.

I received it today and immediately wished I had ordered this long ago. After unboxing and cleaning the unit I gave it a try. After filling it with conditioned tap water I was a bit disappointed at how long it took to have enough ice to fill a cup, 30 minutes, but then after another 20 minutes the ice bucket was nearly full. In other words I should’ve said wait, this isn’t a commercial unit that’s meant to spit out ice at an alarming rate. This is a high quality consumer ice maker that really does the job. After getting a full cup of ice I was very happy with the quality of the ice. To me it’s just like the ice you get from a Sonic Drive Inn. It’s solid yet crunchy, small but not too small and it retains its shape and melts consistently in the presence of liquids. I e seen other consumer ice makers in action but the quality of ice isn’t the same. I’ve seen some that spit out as much water as they do ice and that makes the ice more slushy but not this one. I filled it with a one liter measuring device and that was perfect for a full fill. I have enough ice now to last throughout the day. This is intended to make enough ice for a family of four and it does so. For those that like a lot of ice I would just say to keep this running for most of the day and you’ll never run out. You can buy ice bags locally and then fill them with the ice this makes and you’ll be ice happy throughout the summer. The first pic is the amount of ice made after 20 minutes; the next is a video of its operation and the last pic is after it’s used all the water in the tank and filled the bin with ice.

Great ice maker. My wife loves nugget (or pellet) ice, and this machine pumps it out fast. It's not loud, not quiet, just like a fridge running. It's small and doesn't take up much countertop space, great value for the money!

LOVE THIS ICEMAKER! I purchased the icemaker for my mother because, she has stage three kidney disease. The only thing she likes to drink is Dr Pepper with sonic ice. I was hand crushing her eyes before I purchased this. Now she is getting the intake of liquid water she needs by eating this ice when she drinks her Dr Pepper. The extra plus is, my nine month old grandson loves it because he's teething and he will to on a couple of pieces of ice and it helps him because they're small enough for his mouth and not too hard. It's a win-win in my book and worth the money. But, if you do not clean it every three days like it says to it does buildup and make the ice taste funny and it puts a pink residue in the machine on the ice. So make sure you clean it every three days like you're supposed to. All you have to do is push the button until it turns red and blinks. Then it will start the cleaning process. Just dump the ice out and run it through twice while making ice dumping the ice out twice, after you clean it.

Two weeks and it’s already not working. It’s pouring water out instead of ice and it’s making a not so great sound. I did a lot of research and this was the best I could find at this price point but very disappointed.

I love nugget ice. I live in an RV full time with a tiny freezer. I was buying bag ice, but it was a pain. I decided to buy a small ice machine. I really wanted nugget ice, but struggled with the price. Decided to get myself one…boy, I’m glad I did! Even with limited space, it’s probably one thing I recommend to full time RV’s over and over. I use it multiple times per day. It’s run like a camp and keeps me drinking ice water every day. If I could rate it a 10 I would! Worth every penny.

I wouldn't buy this ice maker. I've had it just a little over a month. Then this evening it started making a horrible noise. It was scaring my cats and I was trying to get to it as fast as I could to turn it off. Oh well, there have to be bad ones sometimes.
