Six years ago, some friends came to dinner and I made enchiladas. I didn’t know it but the husband spilled chile sauce on my beige dining room chair. He put a napkin over it so I wouldn’t immediately notice. I didn’t find out until I went to wash the tablecloth and napkins early the next morning. By that time, the stain had dried and set in. I use this product all the time and love love love it! I love how it cleans my upholstered chairs, whether spot cleaning or cleaning the entire chair. I have always bought it from my local hardware store. I ordered the four pack on Amazon in December for the first time and just finished using one can and when I attempted to use a second can it did not work. I tested the remaining two cans and they did not work either. I cannot return them because the return date past so I did some trouble shooting. I learned that the trigger mechanism on the 3 cans that did not work was flawed so I transferred the functional cap to the other cans and was able to use the product. I guess the chip for spray can mechanisms is on back order too! 😊 ... show more

This cleaner works, but it's no easy-peasy spray on and wait kind of thing. You have to SCRUB. Vigorously, as the directions say. We're talking old-time washboard vigorous. Repetitive stress injury vigorous. Ok, I may have waited too long to clean my bedside carpet runner, and the dog walks on it and sleeps on it, so it was pretty dirty, but it wasn't stained. This worked impressively. It restored the cream color in the pattern to the same as the parts that weren't dirty. It was no walk in the park and I had to use two cans for a 3' x 6' runner, so don't count on doing a whole carpet with less. But, bottom line, it works. Ok, i have 2 little boys who love to make messes. My sectional looked horrible. I wanted to do the entire couch before i wrote a review but we cleaned one section and felt a review was needed. It works great! It smells good. My couch doesnt feel weird after using it. I will say one thing that annoyed me, it says to scrub in a circular motion, but the cap part where the scrub brush is spins. It makes a circular motion difficult. But it still cleans great with a back and forth motion. This stuff goes a long way too. I bought the 4 pack thinking that it may not get the entire couch. I barely used 1/4 on the chaise. Pros: It works It smells great Its easy to use Doesnt leave a weird film or feeling to the fabric Cons: Cap spins You really have to put some elbow grease in to get stains up. ... show more

    • Cleans well but messy
This item was purchased to clean my couch. It smells fresh and worked well. The brush was perfect for scrubbing the area, not to firm but firm enough. The only negatives were that while spraying, the foam would ooze from the area where the finger nozzle is located as well as around the brush on the can. You have to keep wiping off the can from the over spray that will continue to accumulate. It was a bit messy but got the job done. Also, it's also helps to take a damp towel and wipe down the fabric to help remove additional dirt that will just dry in the fabric if you leave it. I also had one can that started to spray ok, then just stopped with about 2/3's of the product left. Guess it was just a defective can but the other 3 cans emptied normally. ... show more

    • Great carpet cleaner
I’ve used other carpet cleaners before for spots, but this did a really great job. My only complaints are that the foam seems to get into the button area where you press down to release the stuff. It could have been a defective canister though. My other issue is that debris gets caught in the brush bristles and is hard to remove. It does it’s job by scrubbing into the carpet and getting the debris, but does almost too good of a job because then I can’t work them out after I’m done. I do like it better than the 409 brand since it does have the brush included and that seems to help get the ground in stains out versus only using a damp cloth after you have sprayed the area. ... show more

    • Easy to use and very good at removing stains
There are a lot of rug/upholstery cleaners out there. I have found this Woolite brand to be very effective for both spot cleaning and cleaning larger areas as well. I use the product for small stains in auto interiors. If more area cleaning is involved, I still use this for the stubborn stains and a hand-held attachment on my stand up rug cleaning machine. 1. Spot treat 2. Spray diluted rug cleaner on all the cloth seat surfaces 3. Use the rug cleaner attachment with rotating brush to work in the solution(s). 4. Switch to clear rinse water (from the rug cleaning machine) and extract the excess. I have done two very bad cloth interiors that came out looking like new. Any remaining 'shadows' (stains) can be retreated with this Woolite product. Great stuff!!! ... show more
