The price point alone is significantly cheaper! Overall it’s a great door handle. My main concern is if you tighten the screws too tight, the handle wanted to stay in the open position. After I loosened the screws going into the latch and door just slightly it worked as it should. Nothing horrible, but a light nuisance that I almost sent back for if I hadn’t loosened the screws. Also, trying to match the inside doors with exterior doors was difficult, which I had to go with a different brand. It doesn’t look horrible but you can tell it’s a different finish. And the screws had black residue that got my hands dirty. Not bad tho. Overall great purchase! ... show more

I've been looking for a decent quality passage style knob for my front door for a while . I have a keypad deadbolt which is rendered useless when someone locks the knob. I had a child safety cover over the knob for years when the kids were small but I didn't remove it because I didn't want them to accidentally lock the knob and lock someone out. I decided to purchase these passage knobs as reviews were good and they had a nice look. The knobs feel solid in my hand and have a nice, clean look to them. Installation took maybe 5 mins each. The latch matched the existing holes exactly and the knob turns smoothly without rubbing against anything in the cutout, unlike some other, cheaper knobs I have bought. I am looking at purchasing several more of these for both keyed and unkeyed doors in our house. ... show more

They're ok quality, kinda light, and cheaper than most stores. But. We have had to drill latch holes larger on older brass knob doors to make the latch fit. And....unlike most knob bought in store....that square on the latch is NOT removable. That means if it's not chiseled out....you must. The amount of time that takes for a whole house and the mess may not be worth the couple bucks. Finish is even but not the most scratch resistant, latch depth adjusts normally, and screws are easy to strip. ... show more
