The shipping was fast but the packaging was lacking. The thermostat was placed in a sealed plastic bag that is lined with a thin bubble wrap. Although decent it does not provide adequate protection against drops, or any rough handling during transit. A small cardboard box with air pillow film should have been used instead to ensure no damage to the thermostat. The PRO T701 thermostat arrived in retail packaging with 2 AA batteries, instruction manuels, and mounting hardware. It appeared to be new as described but i found that behind the faceplate of the thermostat a square barcode had been partially blotted by a dot made by a permanent marker. The T701 (pictured above in attached photo) is the installed purchased item. The wiring was easy as the thermostat was bought as a replacement for the same model. I simply took a picture 📷 of the wiring of the old thermostat before removal and copied the wiring for the new one. It works well so far although its only been about 4 days and has not shown the same issues of the previous model it replaced. The thermostat was similarly priced to other sellers and was a good deal in my opinion. I would recommend buying one if you like ease of use without all the programming and issues programmable thermostats bring. Easy to install for someone with mechanical skills. This is a 24v thermostat.
