The lamps have good light focusing which helps not annoying your bed companion. Has a usb for charging electronics. My critique will be the mounting. The two sided tape will not hold if frequent reposition of the goose neck lamp is needed. Would recommend to use the hardware included to attach it to the wall. Very good investment. ... show more

I purchased this PRINCEWAY LED Wall Mount Reading Light and I am very happy with this purchase. This light is not only useful for reading, but it can also be used as an ambiance light (when faced straight up). The pictures show the two configurations that I have found quite useful. The light can be installed using either the double-sided sticky foam tape or the small mounting screws that are provided with the light. I used the double-sided sticky tape for my installation. After installing the mounting plate, the light easily slides down over the mounting plate. I included a picture showing the mounting plate for reference. Be sure you orient the mounting plate correctly before sticking it to the mounting location. Tapping the power button will run through the brightness settings, then back to off again: 15%, 35%, 70%, 100%, then back off. The light color is more of a daylight color (I am guessing around 4500K to 5000K) versus a warm white color (3300; yellowish, for lack of better words). I am glad I made the investment and got these lights. I put one on either side of my headboard and they look and work great! The media could not be loaded. DO NOT let the size of the bulbs fool you. This thing lights up my large bedroom. It is dimmable, so lighting can be adjusted. Must stay plugged in, but definitely a must have. I love that it slays right off the base if needed in other rooms and the adhesive I used is the tape it came with. No issues at all. I received this last night and immediately installed it so I could read into the night. I am a renter, so I opted to use the sticky backing to adhere the light to the wall. It lasted less than an hour before it fell, the sticky completely peeling away from the pad making it utterly useless. I’ll use command strips next, but it was an annoying inconvenience for the price paid. As for the light itself it was alright. The quality isn’t spectacular, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. While it is dimmable the button to change the brightness isn’t as receptive as I had hoped it would be causing me to push it more than once to get desirable results. Overall, I think this product works well for a short term solution, but I do see myself needing to replace this in the near future with a better light. ... show more
