I have to say I was skeptical about trying this as I was putting it in my kitchen. I had first planned to rip up the old linoleum. But more I thought about it and researched I just put it right over it, my thought was it would be like insulated barrier underneath. I took all trim down and painted n replaced. I’m super happy with the results 2 months later. Only issue was I bought a new dryer after placing feet on it I skidded a place, so I took that piece up and had leftover to redo it with. If you take time to clean it really well this stuff stick to about anything. Kinda like tinting windows. Dont pull the whole backing off unless your doing small area. Peel about 6 inches get that part lined up then just peel a foot or so at a time letting the excess come with you. If you tear it it makes it harder better to just leave it in one piece. And the little pieces of tape with red tips are for making it super easy to peel apart. Just put one piece on one corner and another piece on other side but leaving them off side of each other. Then just pull apart. I saved the ones I didn’t use for diy window tinting. If it last a couple years I’ll be super happy!

Just opened the package. I bought it because the peel and stick tiles i have are curling at the corners. My hope is that this will smooth things out. I bought the black and white check pattern. It is pretty and matte which is good. The vinyl itself is thicker than some available on Amazon so it bodes well for durability. If I have one complaint it is that the role is only one foot wide so I am concerned as to how it will cover the existing vinyl squares. I will update the review after I install.

I chose this flooring to give my home a warmer look, and it’s easily the best option I’ve found so far. It is still a work in progress. Installation was simple—I managed it with just an x-acto knife, a plastic spatula, and a paper cutting board. While a few minor bubbles appeared, they were minimal. Overall, I’m very pleased with the results and expect it to hold up well for the next few years. Highly recommened if wanting long term yet temporary change.

I think this would be an okay project, but it is very thin. Also the white/gray is more like white/purpke-gray.

Easy to work with. My first time using anything like this. I just laid it on top of existing apartment vinyl flooring. First I removed baseboard and patched walls/paint. Next clean and scrubbed. Then wiped down spot at a time with rubbing alcohol before putting down. Then added new baseboards. It shows the lines a bit from the under vinyl but I’m okay with this rental make over. This is just a pic I have on hand. Sorry not focusing on flooring…
