Description

These window screen hangers are constructed of stamped steel and they come in a zinc finish. They feature a top mount design with a distinct keeper, allowing for easy hanging and removal of wood-framed window screens. These hangers feature a 3/8 inch projection at 1 inch wide, and they are commonly used together with Prime-Line’s hook and eye latch (Prime-Line part K 5267, purchased separately), for latching of wood screens to wood window sills. All fasteners are provided for installation.

Nice quality. Sturdy enough. See photo. The part attached to the wall has a smaller notch that what I'm replacing, but should be fine. See photo. For my application, the screen frame I am hanging is flush with the surface of the wall. If you put the parts together so they are resting in the notch, you will notice the mounting surfaces are offset. I don't know if this was by design, maybe, storm windows are offset? I found this out on a ladder. Easy enough to bend the larger bracket. ... show more

These will work well to hang the old wood-framed storm windows on my garage. I bought a pack of these and the Primeline 182036. Turns out they are the exact same even though these have a higher price. It appears the Slide-Co is now Primeline as they both have the same mailing address.
