That being said, the dot seems clear, I can't really say a lot about it yet because I haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet But I will update my review if there are any problems and since it has a lifetime warranty I have plenty of time if something isn't right with it, I bought it for myself for Christmas and I was ready to use it day one but it hasn't happened yet. .. I used a bore sighter to zero it in and it wasn't hard to do, in other words that aspect of it worked fine for me no problem... Removable picatinny riser exposes Aimpoint Micro mount base, which allows for absolute co-witness using RS Regulate optic rail on AK47. This is so far a very impressive red dot, great price point, you can see the higher quality you get for the little extra you do pay for this come pared to Vortex, Bushnell, T1/T2 etc. This has held up well on the AK.

Purchased this in February of 2018. It’s been set on brightness level 3 since then and has not been turned off. Dot is still bright and crisp and has held up well in subzero winter temps and 100+ degree summer days. I paired it with an ADM lower 1/3 QD mount and I can take it off and put it on without any shift in zero. Definitely a good buy if you don’t want to pony up $600 for a T2. ... show more

    • Bad batch?

This recent one I received has a “loose” adjustment knob. When firing on my ak the adjustment knob moved between settings thus causing the dot to disappear. I have another one of this that works perfectly and has a very tight knob which functioned flawless. Although it is older and production. Maybe they had a bad batch? Idk, I’m waiting to hear if this can be fixed by PA as this cannot be trusted on any serious firearm. Will update rating depending on resolution. ... show more

Adjustments are too coarse. One click = 1 MOA. Previous Primary Arms sights were 1 click = 1/2 MOA. This change is not listed anywhere on the product descriptions.
