This scooter, paid for by my insurance, has given me a new lease on life! Due to Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis I had been limiting what I did & where I went prior to getting this - no more! My lab/retriever loves going on long walks to the dog park & to downtown. I have a social life now that I can take my scooter to city parks where summer concerts are held & can meet friends rather than always relying on rides. I can go the the State Fair & other such events. As far as range is concerned, the most I've tried to go with it is 4-5 miles. Once it starts losing 1 or 2 green lights, while cruising uphill, I panic and get home to plug it in again. A rear basket IS available online, contrary to what the other reviewer said. When I replace this someday my next scooter will have tires with air in the tires. These wheels make for a VERY bumpy ride. It's been caught in downpouring rain and was not affected, I was scared - but no worries! ... show more

wonderful little trike has lots of power, will go through grass well, has a dial to regulate speed, but finding any mirrors or rear baskets for shopping is down right unheard of to find. The mileage isn't anything like they say. which is ten miles, but we could only get six miles with a full charge. but had to creep it home just to make it back. but other wise its a pretty good scooter, clears those curbs in residential areas. has no suspension at all. rides like a rock. insurance covered the cost of unit, but not the car attachment to carry it. it cost about as much as the scooter. ... show more
