This is a very good light. It meets all my needs. I especially appreciate the displayed data. I would have given it 5 stars. But it doesn’t deserve it. I have bought 3 of these lights. 1 came with a light that doesn’t work properly. It does not have a functioning daylight/full spectrum working light. The LEDs are there. They just don’t work as they should. The soft light works fine. I know this is a small sample size. But I want this light. When 33% don’t work properly it effects how I can use them. I plan on contacting the manufacturer about it. ... show more

Opened the box and followed the instructions. The display only half works. The date is 5/30 however, the day is Saturday and there’s no way to correct that. Good “looking” desk light, too bad. No reaching out like most sellers do. I’ve heard nothing from this seller. One star only for the looks of this thing. Update: Heard from seller finally, referred me to their customer service.     • Easy to tip over
Let me start off by saying I have many different models of OTT lights. They are wonderful,bright, dependable, and stylish. So of course when I needed a new desk lamp it had to be OTT. But they dropped the ball with this model. While on the desk it easily falls over, there is no weight to stabilize the base. The on/off switch requires patience because it is one press button to turn it on and off and to get the different degrees of brightness. Unless you are very adept at electronics, it takes the mind of a genius to get the programming directions on the first try. But let me say the good. The flip up light is nice. The Slimline design with the stitching is nice.The brightness you expect from an Ott is outstanding. Well let's hope Ott reads this and redesigns the problems so the next customer can give glowing remarks. ... show more
