    • A real time saver!
I had been looking for a professional electric griddle because I didn't think consumer griddles could get this good for the price. For years I used cheap black Friday specials in the $25-30 price range and they would wear out after a year or two of use. I really thought they were all the same. After starting a Keto diet, I found myself standing in the kitchen for literally an hour trying to cook a big meaty breakfast with a very used Bella electric griddle. I found that thing so frustrating that I was willing to fork out $150 for the "professional" electric griddle they sell at Williams Sonoma, but they do not ship that griddle, so I had to look for something else. I even considered a real professional high watt model that goes for over $500. I got sick of waiting for the right griddle so I just bought this one on impulse. I looked like it was pretty big so I knew that would be useful for cooking a whole package of bacon at a time. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this griddle. Now, I've only been using it for a month, so I have no idea how durable it and it's non-stick coating are. However, right off the bat it seems like a higher quality than what I'm used to in the slightly cheaper price range. Now here's what's great about it. Heat distribution is WAY better than my previous cheap griddles. If the $150 model I was looking at on Williams Sonoma was this good I would have been satisfied. And, unlike my previous griddles, I don't have to turn it up all the way. I can throw on an entire package of bacon and be done in like 15 minutes. Eggs? Another five minutes. I've noticed a couple spots that don't get quite as hot as the rest of the top but it's miles above what I'm used to. The tilt feature is excellent too. My kitchen countertop isn't perfectly level so my bacon grease used to run to the back of my previous griddles. With this, I just engage the tilt feature and I can either make it level or I can make the grease run forward into the grease tray. Unlike my previous griddles that I considered to be disposable garbage, I want to make this one last so I'm already taking better care of it than I normally would. And honestly, if it only lasted a year, I'd buy another one because it saves me about a half hour of cooking time every morning and time is money. ... show more

Love it! It is bigger than our last one and so easy to use and clean. I cooked a whole pack of bacon in 10 minutes then cooked eggs on the skillet right after without spraying. The tilt option is so nice especially for greasy items. I wasn't so sure about the tilt when I ordered it but thought I would give it a try. So glad I did! Easy to clean as well if you have a big sink area. We have a family of 7 and this has been so handy for our on the go family. ... show more

    • Love! Don't know how I've never owned one of these!
I know this may be a little premature since I've only used this twice but I am loving this. This thing cooks food in large amounts, quickly, and thoroughly! I first made pancakes 1st day I received this. The first couple didn't cook thoroughly and that was my fault. Made another batch and cooked beautifully! This morning I made bacon, sausages, and scrambled eggs. All I can say is wow! I strongly recommend you have everything prepped and ready to go. I will even say to separate the bacon before starting, if you can. Once you start cooking on this, it just goes super fast non stop. I've read where someone said bacon does not cook evenly on this. 1 pack of bacon cooked in 8 minutes, I was shocked. I just kept flipping here and there and removed them as they got done! It cooked quickly, beautifully nice and crispy. Also, the grease drained out into drain dish just fine. Got 3/4 cup of rendered bacon grease! Yes some grease sat on top, i just helped it to the drain dish, or you can use paper towel to absorb the grease. No biggie! Sausages and scrambled eggs cooked beautifully! I just made sure to wipe with paper towel carefully in between the different foods i was cooking. As far as cleaning, this griddle is huge and i have a standard size sink, so, for me, any pans that i have to clean in my small sink, especially when greasy, can be a little pain. But it is easy to clean. When I finish, i dry with towel and leave itnout to make sure everything in between dries! I am loving this so much so far and i hope this lasts for a very long time.
