    • A real time saver!
I had been looking for a professional electric griddle because I didn't think consumer griddles could get this good for the price. For years I used cheap black Friday specials in the $25-30 price range and they would wear out after a year or two of use. I really thought they were all the same. After starting a Keto diet, I found myself standing in the kitchen for literally an hour trying to cook a big meaty breakfast with a very used Bella electric griddle. I found that thing so frustrating that I was willing to fork out $150 for the "professional" electric griddle they sell at Williams Sonoma, but they do not ship that griddle, so I had to look for something else. I even considered a real professional high watt model that goes for over $500. I got sick of waiting for the right griddle so I just bought this one on impulse. I looked like it was pretty big so I knew that would be useful for cooking a whole package of bacon at a time. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this griddle. Now, I've only been using it for a month, so I have no idea how durable it and it's non-stick coating are. However, right off the bat it seems like a higher quality than what I'm used to in the slightly cheaper price range. Now here's what's great about it. Heat distribution is WAY better than my previous cheap griddles. If the $150 model I was looking at on Williams Sonoma was this good I would have been satisfied. And, unlike my previous griddles, I don't have to turn it up all the way. I can throw on an entire package of bacon and be done in like 15 minutes. Eggs? Another five minutes. I've noticed a couple spots that don't get quite as hot as the rest of the top but it's miles above what I'm used to. The tilt feature is excellent too. My kitchen countertop isn't perfectly level so my bacon grease used to run to the back of my previous griddles. With this, I just engage the tilt feature and I can either make it level or I can make the grease run forward into the grease tray. Unlike my previous griddles that I considered to be disposable garbage, I want to make this one last so I'm already taking better care of it than I normally would. And honestly, if it only lasted a year, I'd buy another one because it saves me about a half hour of cooking time every morning and time is money. ... show more

    • Fantastic addition to the kitchen for any cook at any level
Better than the description. I am a chef and bought this for my home use. It is solid, huge size, and completely non-stick. To clean is nothing more than wiping off with a rag. I have to mention though that it does cook a little hotter than the temperature dial is set to but that is no problem as it responds fast to heat adjustment. I figure that this will remain a great non-stick surface for years if no metal utensils are used on its surface. I'm planning on buying my children one for Christmas as the price is reasonable. ... show more

    • Makes Breakfast for 5 fast and easy!
Update and long term use review: I used this for ALMOST three years at least once per week sometimes twice. Unfortunately, it came to the end of its serviceable life as the cooking surface quite suddenly warped beyond use one night. Overall, it was a great griddle and I stand by my review below. As a matter of fact, I'm here on Amazon to buy another one to replace it. I just thought I would provide long-term use notes since the same model is still being produced. Again, the pluses and minuses in my review below remained the same throughout its service life. Non-stick surface was fine throughout. The only thing that got a little worse was its tendency to slide into tilt mode. I would still recommend this model. Happy pancake flipping! Original Review: I really like this Griddle because it is gigantic! I can cook an entire pound of bacon at the same time. No more multiple bacon batches before I move on to pancakes. With a proper preheating, pancakes come out nicely too. The Tilt and Drain functionality is pretty cool as well. I can see where others have said it slips into the drain configuration during use. I have seen this only a little on mine. Just takes a second to reset it though. The slight negatives of this one: it does take a little longer to cook items, especially when you have it fully loaded. There are hotter spots on it, so you have to rotate food around. I've not seen a plug in griddle that doesn't have this issue though. Finally, there is a lip under the cooking surface where it drains into the grease trough. Little bits of food get stuck in there and it is a little tricky to clean. I suppose a dishwashing brush would help...I just don't have one! ... show more
