Convenient. Quick set up. Switches on back of clock for time zone and daylight savings time. It really does set itself. No more hassle. Put a battery in it and forget it. I bought two of these clocks a week apart. The first clock took several hours to set itself, but it eventually picked up the required atomic signal for reset. The second clock picked up the signal and set itself within minutes of my putting a battery in it.

This has been an excellent purchase! I put the batteries in, set it for my time zone and it set itself up and has been spot on since day one. It's dead quiet so my wife no longer complains about hearing ticking. I win in all counts.

Very nice clock it set itself and is very quiet, I can't hear it ticking at all. I cant wait for the time to chan ge and I don't have to get on my ladder and change the time. I am very pleased with this clock. I will order more for my other rooms if needed.

First, mo instructions whatsoever came with the clock or packaging. the clock does not automatically reset to local time. There was nothing on the internet under the brand name, "Presentime & Company." I was able to find some instructions online under the manufacturer of the small clock mechanism inside the clock, but these instructions failed to set the clock. Second, there's a toggle switch with presets on the reverse-side of the clock: "PMCE" that I deduced were the U.S. time zones Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern. We live in Alaska, so maybe an added "A" might be useful for us, and an "H" for Hawaii might also be useful. No clue was given by either the seller or Amazon with regard to this little oversight. Otherwise, I'd have purchased a different option. Anyway, determined trial and error finally got the clock running on Pacific time and I mentally subtract 1 hour--thus I can put it in my bathroom and know what the time is. I would not recommend this clock.

I want to start off by telling perspective buyers to ignore the negative reviews saying that there is no manual. I saw those remarks and then scoured the web to see what all of the abbreviations on the back of the clock ment. I then looked inside the box and found a two page manual. What a waste of time searching the Internet. Oh well. The setup is pretty strait forward. After selecting my time zone, I put in the battery and then watched the clock reset itself to 12:00. I set the clock on a chair facing Ft Collins and went away for about ten minutes. When I came back it was set to the correct time. Hurray! It worked! BTW: I purchased this because I hate having to reset my clock for daylight savings every six months. I am hoping that it will do as advertised and automatically change the time for me. Only time will tell. Pun intended.

This is a great looking clock for a place where it’s hard to reset the hands for time changes twice a year. It takes care of that itself. There were no instructions for how to set it but it was straightforward.
