I was skeptical about purchasing this specific brand because of the very few reviews. But I took a chance on it because of all the negative reviews I saw on a more popular, well known brand. I'm so glad I did! I bought a king size and it fits my king size mattress like a charm and I honestly can't feel the coils, which I was concerned about after reading so many other reviews. It fees like any other mattress pad but soooo much better. My husband sets his every night. After he determined that his ideal heat setting was 6, (don't know who would ever need 20 settings) he turns it on, presses Preheat, and once it gets up to temperature it stays at his predetermined setting. I didn't think I'd ever need to turn my side on but one day it was extremely cold and I felt chilled to the bone. I turned my side on and it felt like heaven. I was so glad we had this. My husband has back issues and he says his back isn't as stiff when he gets up each morning. This was a little more expensive than some of the other heated mattress pads but it's worth every penny. I am not a fan of getting into a cold bed, especially during the winter. This mattress pad is ideal to preheat the bed, and adds comfort to your bed. It has extra thick padding, which makes for a great night sleep. I don't feel the coils, but they are there for when I need to warm up the bed. The wife loves it for the heat. She always sleeps in pajamas with down comforter and another blanket on top and still thinks it is cold. She now takes most of the covers off once the pad warms and even says she's warm. Best pad I've ever slept on. Definitely recommending this to all my friends ... show more

    • Useless product, controller arrived broken. Company will not fix.
I've had plenty of electric blankets before - they warm up quick and provide a lot of heat. Somehow, I thought a mattress pad would be similar. Unfortunately, this mattress pad arrived to me with only one working controller. The other controller operated half of the blanket, but even on its highest setting it barely got lukewarm, and took an exceptionally long time to get to that temperature anyway. I called Hyde Lane to attempt to get a new controller for the blanket, and they told me to just return the blanket to Amazon. I would have rathered them send me a new controller so this thing would actually work, but instead I have to package the whole thing up just because one controller was malfunctioning. The company said that even if they wanted to, they couldn't send me a controller because they have none in stock and won't be getting any more for over TWO MONTHS. I won't be exchanging this - it's going back for a refund. Junk. ... show more

Long time user of electric blanket. Old one quit working. Never really liked the weight of an electric blanket. Friend suggested I try the electric pad. No weight. Installed with cord connections at top, Did not have to snake cords from top to bottom around/through adjustable base boxes. As an 80 year old, I have arthritis in my back I started turning it on at level 5 (up to 20 possible) to provide heat for my back. Wake up not quite so stiff. I had my doubts about it heating up, but OMG, it did and gave me much needed relief when after 2 days of driving to Florida, I needed to do something, so I ordered this for our town home and am happy to report, it worked. Some may believe in pills, but I highly recommend a heated mattress pad if you are having pain in your back, you'll be surprised at how much relief you will get. ... show more

thought it was great until got damp and this is not damp proof as for washing it you can wash it but you only tumble dry for fice minutes and than you have to hang it out to finish drying, mine lasted for two months before it stopped working, the cords you cannot put between the mattress and box springs so they just hang under the bed. ... show more

Really liked that it has wide sides and fit my pillow top nice. Plus it was nice and thick and soft. The plug sits at the bottom and lays flat and out of the way. Seems to give nice even heat and with 20 settings you can find a setting that works for you. Have only had it for a few days so not sure if it will keep working or for how long. The quality looks pretty good so hoping for the best. Really like it so far. The pad is much nicer than an electric blanket. You don't get to hot during the night with the pad. Also like that you can set the auto shut off to something other than the default 10 hours. ... show more

I am very happy with quilted top. It’s very comfortable. What I have noticed is after a hard day at work and the colder weather my back tightens up. Putting it on high. I use less blankets and I sleep better throughout the night. I wake up with virtually no tightness in my body. I would highly recommend this product ... show more
