We ordered the gazebo to help add much needed shade of our pool patio. We love it! It was a little complicated to put to together but my husband and I took our time , took us probably couple weekends to assemble just the 2 of us. It took 5 men and 2 ladders to lift the 2 roof panels up and secure. We did anchor the 4 posts to our cement patio for more security in high winds. But actually, probably not needed, once roof attached, it's really heavy. We have had for over year now and I can say we have no complaints. Great size 12 x 14 for entertainment. We literally use it year round not matter the weather. We have a gas fire table along with our furniture and use it in fall and winter nights. Also, no leaks! Love hearing the rain on the aluminum roof! One of the best things we ever invested in! ... show more

We received our Gazebo Saturday and are putting it together today. Customer Service was excellent! While opening the boxes you can smell the cedar and the posts are nice and wide 6 x 9. I'm excited to see it all assembled and I will post as soon as we get it up so you guys can all see how beautiful it looks! . ... show more

I'll start with the price. Apparently you can go pick up your own at a brick and mortar store for half or 3/4 the price. I paid a little over 2 grand so the free shipping amounted to the difference. I have a z turn mower with a trailer so the driver was able to just slide each box off the truck into my trailer and slide them off in my backyard. Each box weighs about 275 lbs. I saw someone post that they assembled it by themselves. No way! It recommends 6 people for some steps. I did most of the ground work by myself but lifting the roof panels up was me and my wife. And I had to buy helper 3rd hand poles to keep the uprights stable since my neighbors don't believe in a barn raising. Getting the roof panels lifted into a triangle required a second man and my wife to hand us tools and run the 3rd hand jacks to line things up and hold the roof while I bolt it together and then realign the roof supports. In the end I was still just 1/2 inch off on assembling the roof panels and dead square with the pillars. The instructions say not to use a power screwdriver... nuts! Just use a good variable speed or you'll have carpal tunnel after screwing in a thousand screws and bolts and nuts. Make sure you don't lose one peice of hardware because they are exact. No extras. I have a few unfilled holes because some screwed weren't threaded, some didn't fit the bit and some were welded together from the factory. I'm amazed the one Robertson bit they give you lasted right up to the end. Luckily, the missing screws weren't critical. All in all, it's very sturdy. It weighs 800 lbs so I can't imagine anything but a hurricane doing damage. The rafters are sturdy enough for me to do a few pull ups and I weigh 270. But I wouldn't do TRX. I hung a double ceiling fan. And lastly, I'm the envy of the neighborhood even with the bad points. ... show more

This Gazebo came damaged. The main beam was split and therefore is a permanent defect. And this gazebo is an extremely large item to exchange. Item was not cheap.

I searched all over the internet - and of course our local Big Box stores Lowes & Home Depot - I have to admit, I took a risk purchasing - but when all the other options for 4X the price - it was a risk I was willing to take. We love it! It took several men to put together, very sturdy. We love the size of this Pavilion and we now have shade on our deck. We can spend all day enjoying the outdoors! We can fit all of our furniture in and around it! Lots of complements

We just had a pool put in and wanted something we could put outdoor furniture under. This Pavillion is perfect! My husband and I put it all together ourselves even though instructions say it takes 4 to 6 people! It took very careful maneuvering but we did it!
