Always bought this type of brakes, great price and quality.

    • Good brakes, don't come with grease. Slide pin rubber is a bit tight.
I have always liked powerstop brakes and these are no exception. They were easy to install and have good(if a little nauseating) bedding instructions specific to the line of brake pads you have. I only have to negatives to say about them. First, the last few times I've used them I have gotten their Z23 kits which come with a packet of grease in each pad set. This kit did not. Thankfully I had an extra packet on hand, but something worth noting. Second, and this is specific to this kit, it comes with new rubber boots for the slide pins, and a replacement rubber bit for the lower slide pin. It goes over the tip of the pin. The ones included in this kit are pretty darn tight so that even with a generous amount of grease they are still really stiff and not wanting to move very easily which does not feel very comforting. I'm going to give them a couple months and re-check on those pins. If they are still really stiff I will report back and update this review, but I hope they break in a bit so they can move more freely as designed. If I don't report back in a couple months, they're all good. ... show more
