Husband used this and it takes some skill to work and a learning curve but great item!
Very powerful next to my battery. It's a beast. Handle broke second time using it. I got another handle you can put on that let's your body not be hunched over. For a woman it's decent heavy. But if you want to take out massive weeds and brush it's worth every dime even with a broken handle. I'm having a problem keeping it going so Im going to have my husband help me figure out what Im doing wrong. Im not great with machines but if it's a me error then I will come back and update my review back to 5 stars. Update: My husband used this and it takes someone who knows how to work these things. I have no idea why I have the problems I do after a while but he seemed to do well so its a learning curve for me.

Do not mixed the gas with too much oil, follow the instructions
This powerSmart String Trimmer is awesome, it has the power and length I needed. The PowerSmart string trimmer is easy to start and the vibration level is very low. The instruction to put the string trimmer together is straight forward, I did it in less than 20 minutes. I have three other string trimmer in storage that I stop using because they do not have the power I needed, the PowerSmart is with it's 25.4cc engine is perfect. I have not done any edging since I bought my house more than two years ago because my other string trimmer did not have have the power and would take forever, but with the PowerSmart string trimmer edging is easy. I have had two of my neighbors asked me about this string trimmer, I would recommend to any.

Choke switch broken new out of box.
Choke switch was broken new out of box, just cheap plastic hanging by a thread. Tried for hours, but never able to get it to start. So I can't attest to it's operation or value, other than mine specifically was junk.

Trimmer works great, customer service was really helpful
I purchased the 25.4cc 16" Gas String Trimmer & Edger model #PS4532. It was pretty straightforward to put together, taking about 20 minutes (making sure it was done correctly). It did have a little more weight to it than expected but not enough to make it unusable for me. After filling it with gas, it started up after the second pull on the cord. I used it this past weekend to tackle a pretty big project in my backyard. It ran like a champ the whole time and took care of the small brush and weeds then I have been working to get rid of. I am very happy with the power this trimmer has and once I got the shoulder strap adjusted for me it does not seem heavy while using it. I used both the weed eating trimmer line as well as the metal blade brush cutter while working in the backyard this past weekend. They both performed perfectly, just like I needed and helped clear a lot of overgrowth. I am very happy so far. After my initial discussion with customer service that wasn't helpful, I was contacted by someone else in customer service and they provided a much more in depth video of what I needed to see. They also provided a partial refund of the purchase to offset any inconvenience and cost for purchasing parts. Additionally, they stated they would also develop separate blade packaging based on my feedback. This is the kind of customer service I had hoped for.

Directions were disappointing, trimmer great
This is a great trimmer! Our mower has been in the shop for several weeks, and with all the rain and warm, sunny days, our grass quickly grew knee high. My husband used it to cut in way back down faster than our good mower would have, it cuts efficiently. What a relief. I debated in taking off a star for the directions. We have always bought pre assembled, and it took my husband and myself an hour to figure out putting the head of the trimmer on. The directions didn’t mention removing a bolt, and exactly why we would insert a hex tightner in a place that didn’t make sense. I finally tossed the directions and did it intuitively. For someone with early arthritis, this was much more difficult than it should have been. I didn’t remove the star, because I could easily handle the trimmer without the shoulder strap.

Good product
I ordered the Power Smart string trimmer and I have been satisfied with it thus far. I only have used it once and it started up the first try. It is a little quieter than my previous weed eater, which is a good thing. It may be a little heavier to some, but good thing it comes with a shoulder strap to help hold the trimmer while weed eating. The trimmer string was easy to pull out once the line got short, but I'm used to the push and pull string so I bought a universal head to use(just easier for me). I would recommend this product if you are looking for a new trimmer or trying to replace the one you had previous.

Cheap product no good
In 45 minutes broke down garbage cheap product definitely not for a big area. Has to be very small for small property maybe the front side by five x 10 that’s what is good for anything bigger yard
