The PowerSmart 25.4cc Gas Weed Wacker is an excellent quality product. Easy to start with plenty of power. Why anyone would buy a battery operated weed wacker is beyond me. The PowerSmart Weed Wacker performs as well as the name brand weed wackers and is almost half the price. The bump head line feed works well but I opted to put on a Kwik loader head since I hate re-stringing bump heads. With .155 string the PowerSmart Weed Wacker is a beast. I opt to wear a face shield and safety glasses to avoid eating rocks. I highly recommend the PowerSmart 25.4cc Gas Weed Wacker.

Shipping was quick and the unit was well packed in the manufacturer box. The unit was easy to assemble and to get it running. It’s well made to get the job done. I have used it several times now and no problems with it running or getting it started. You really can't beat the price.

Well, fooled me once, shame on you, fool me twice, that's not nice! Bought the first one & it worked fine for about 2 weeks. It would start right up but as soon as I tried to power up to weed eat, it would die. Never could find the problem even after calling the # & talking to them. Then, for some reason, I decided to buy another one and purchase the extended 3 year warranty. Same thing happened. Now I'm not even able to reach them on the phone. I see many others are having the same problem. I believe the main issue here is Amazon is not standing behind customers by continuing to sell these weed eaters and such a low price by the thousands or 100's of thousands only to have customers disgruntled and disappointed because of the lack of performance of the product. Shame PowerSmart & shame on Amazon.

This is an affordable easy to start (about 3 pulls when the motor is cool, one pull when the motor has been running) weed eater that is lightweight. It works well around your house. The only complaint I really have is that the head that you load the string in does not seem very durable, mine fell apart mid-use but I was able to fix it pretty quick and continue what I was doing. This isn't a real big issue as you can upgrade the cutting head for other aftermarket options. The blade attachment that came with it is great for cutting thicker weeds and weed stalks along with thin branches. Overall this is a good home use product.

I purchased the 25.4cc 16" Gas String Trimmer & Edger model #PS4532. It was pretty straightforward to put together, taking about 20 minutes (making sure it was done correctly). It did have a little more weight to it than expected but not enough to make it unusable for me. After filling it with gas, it started up after the second pull on the cord. I used it this past weekend to tackle a pretty big project in my backyard. It ran like a champ the whole time and took care of the small brush and weeds then I have been working to get rid of. I am very happy with the power this trimmer has and once I got the shoulder strap adjusted for me it does not seem heavy while using it. I used both the weed eating trimmer line as well as the metal blade brush cutter while working in the backyard this past weekend. They both performed perfectly, just like I needed and helped clear a lot of overgrowth. I am very happy so far. After my initial discussion with customer service that wasn't helpful, I was contacted by someone else in customer service and they provided a much more in depth video of what I needed to see. They also provided a partial refund of the purchase to offset any inconvenience and cost for purchasing parts. Additionally, they stated they would also develop separate blade packaging based on my feedback. This is the kind of customer service I had hoped for.

Very powerful next to my battery. It's a beast. Handle broke second time using it. I got another handle you can put on that let's your body not be hunched over. For a woman it's decent heavy. But if you want to take out massive weeds and brush it's worth every dime even with a broken handle. I'm having a problem keeping it going so Im going to have my husband help me figure out what Im doing wrong. Im not great with machines but if it's a me error then I will come back and update my review back to 5 stars. Update: My husband used this and it takes someone who knows how to work these things. I have no idea why I have the problems I do after a while but he seemed to do well so its a learning curve for me.

I ALWAYS READ the directions, no matter how basic or easy it looks. It went together, without a hitch. But the bump string head is a pain, so I replaced it right off with a pro string head from my local mower repair shop. The motor popped on the first pull, started right up on the 2nd pull. Runs on a 50 to 1 gas /2cy oil mix. Same as your blower or chainsaw. It ran great, has plenty of power. I'm used to spending $275.or more for a string trimmer. I am blown away $100 for a string trimmer this nice. Including a tool kit and fuel mixing bottle.
