  • Simplicity and Performance
Color: Black
So far so good! Purchased this item in early December in anticipation of forecasted snow storms. I chose this unit after an exhaustive search and review of suppliers and models within my price range. While the owners manual is essentially worthless I was able to assemble the unit as the best assembly video is on U Tube. Unit was damaged at some point (see pictures) prior to delivery. Using the electric start option the unit fired right up and it did a great job of removing 6 inches of powered snow. So far excellent performance! Recommend this item! ... show more

  • Packaging is light duty. Be prepared to straighten the sheet metal
The blower it's self is great. Easy to assemble. Directions a bit vague. MY COMPLAINT: Packaging, The box not big enough to house better protection for contents. I witnessed the FedEx driver roll the box like a large rock or ball. This damaged contents. Being a mechanic/welder/fabricator I was able to affect appropriate repairs. Over all the unit kicks butt. I used it on first storm. It really throws snow 100 feet. Woohoo team ... show more

  • Annoyingly fast shipping!!! (Ordered 11/5, delivered 11/7)
So the snow blower is still in box in my garage. Photo is delivery guy and I carrying the box into my garage. Arrived TWO days after order was placed, which is freaking awesome accept it isn’t supposed to be here for another 8-10 days and the seller never passed along my request to have the courier contact me for scheduling delivery since I work during the day and did not want the snow blower sitting alone in my driveway unsupervised. If I hadn’t checked the tracking on Amazon out of pure boredom I would have missed that it was being delivered today. I was able to cancel an appt I had at my job and run home to meet the courier to accept delivery. I would not have been able to do this had fed ex not allowed me to track the delivery truck. I am also annoyed that for a nearly $700 item I was not asked to sign to accept delivery. Those unique issues aside, this is my 2nd snowblower of this manufacturer. 7 or 8 years ago I purchased a previous, nearly identical model (this new one has lighting, which I am really looking forward to as I do all my snow blowing at night). That previous model finally developed a steady gas leak. I’m great with my hands but not when it comes to engines. A coworker loves to work on small engines and cars, so I have offered the previous model to him to rebuild as he was looking for one to refurbish for the daycare center his daughter owns and operates. The previous model was the envy of my immediate neighbors, especially after accidentally hitting the one with the thrown snow from my driveway while she was in her own haha (this fact was the reason I stuck with the same manufacturer). I never had any problems beyond replacing shear pins (I think they’re called) that lock the tines in for rotation, which is to be expected in WI winters. The sad part is I am hoping for this to be my last winter in WI, so it seemed annoying to buy another snow blower this close to target moving date, but I look forward to seeing my neighbors’ faces when I gift this snow blower to them before moving (because that’s the kind of guy I am). I hope the above indicates how happy I actually am with my past experience with this brands products. If I do not update this review it means I was a VERY happy customer with this model and would recommend it for purchase. ... show more
