Given the relatively price point even though it's made of fairly inexpensive materials, I have to say this is one of the better towers I've used over the years. The additional bars at the top give a lot more flexibility in terms of which exercises can be done. The curvature of the bottom lends to extra support (this is important in my new home because the floors are incredibly old and slope a little bit), and the overall assembly was pretty thoughtfully designed. Only one step in the instruction was off because a particular part was already built into the unit, otherwise it was fairly intuitive and everything necessary was included (I will note that I got this as "like new" to save a few dollars, mostly because the notes for the item at the warehouse said that only the packaging took some damage; this was true, and I didn't care about the packaging). This particular model can also go upward by several inches higher than most of the other ones, and that's particularly important for me because I'm not only tall at 6'2", but I have a very lengthy reach. It's definitely stable and sturdy enough when I'm carefully and methodically doing lat or bicep pullups, unless I decide to be a maniac for some stupid reason, in which case there is some wobble... but it doesn't tip or creak or break (given how some parts slide into others before they even need to have a bolt placed in them, I suspect I would have to seriously abuse this thing in order to break it). So, I would say that my general rule about a lot of material things applies: so long as you respect what you have in front of you and use things the way they are intended, you should (ideally!) get a lot of use out of them. I've already found enjoyment with this unit way more than the last couple of towers I've had, especially since I had to give up my best one well over a decade ago while living elsewhere because it was way too heavy and bulky. This is the next best one for me... YMMV. Can it do absolutely everything I need? No... that's why I also have other equipment. However, it's an excellent complement to everything, and I wish I had this unit instead of one of the others some time ago when I didn't have the space or height in a former apartment; a tower was all I could purchase and keep, and a shorter one at that. All in all, I'm happy so far, and will update if anything goes awry.

This thing is just amazing 👏 Shockingly for thr price.. With about 4 weeks of staying up late at night researching the best power towers and so on I went with this one. Not because of the reviews because as you can see there were very few. The reason I went with this particular unit is because of the different option you have on the actual bar. I counted 11 different hand positions I could use while doing pull ups, chin ups etc!! I user a baseball grip to add more grip to the bar because as you see no grip is on the inner handles of thr bar and that's part of the reason this unit isn't fully a 5 star piece of equipment. You can you a nice bar wax as well and it works perfect!! The finish on this power tower is like a handed steel or hit with metal beads so when you apply the wax it catches it perfectly!! Good job!!! 👏 My last con will be the welds are I complete., but the actual welding is done clean! But i took some jb weld 5020 psi and completed the weld! And I also waterproofed it as well being its outside. The pads and very nice quality and soft PU leather.. STURDY! The captain chain back pad can be adjusted in and out and also rotated to make it wider or taller. It can also be removed. The handles can also be removed which makes its better for me to do dips without my forearms or wrists tapping the handles. There's 2 screw knows on each side if the adjustable height part of thr power tower which is rare because on most there's only 1!! This equipment is sturdy as well!! Also has a rack on the back fir a barbell Olympic or standard width!! Well over 28mm!! I can go on and on!! 4.7 stars!!

Like others have mentioned, the included footpads are the wrong size, so the entire power tower lacks stability. I need the manufacturer to send me the correct footpads. FIXED - I was able to put the footpads on the bottom of the tower. To be sure, they are the wrong size, but I boiled a pot of water, and placed the part of the rubber feet that attach to the base of the tower for 30 seconds, I put some Vaseline on the base legs, and with the rubber feet hot and pliable from the boiling water, I stretched them over the base legs. If you can't get it to work, keep boiling for 30 seconds and try again. This is a design flaw but at least I was able to put them on and stabilize the tower.

I was worried we wouldn't have room for this in our apartment but it's actually great! It is sturdy myself (6ft 160lbs) and my pre-teen children really enjoy it. There are so many different exercises and even when I have friends over they end up trying it too! I already went from only doing 2 curl ups to 5, so I am loving the progress. I am excited to keep getting stronger and try all the different grip handles. So many different possibilities. It was easy to put together with a little help from my son but pretty straight forward. We have only had it for a couple weeks so not sure about durability but so far for the price and the research I did on others I would highly recommend! Especially if you are low on space because this is light it can be easily moved around or adjusted for different people.
